We love our deaf dog! Know that it is a big responsibility and this book outlines everything you need to know. We didn't take the time to read it until a week after we had adopted our puppy and there were things we learned the hard way. Definately recommended!

This book really helped me figure out how to relate to my deaf puppy. Her previous owner just couln't keep her, so I took her in not believing she was really deaf I thought she was just puppy stubborn. I ordered this book when the vet confirmed she was deaf. It really helped me figure out how to comunicate with her and understand the way she sees the world. It also explained why this information is so hard to find. It was easy to read and understand. It wasn't full of technical jargon! Unless your good at making up signs and remembering what you made up, go ahead and order an american sign language dictionary now. :-)

This very well written book explains EVERYTHING you need to know about your deaf dog in a very easy-to-understand way. I recommend this book to anyone with a deaf dog so they know what their dog is doing and why, and also how to train them! Very good book!
