Meet the Author

(2001) Eugene L. Lowry is the William K. McElvaney Professor of Preaching Emeritus at St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Missouri. A jazz pianist and antique car enthusiast, he is a member of the American Federation of Musicians and a member of the Board of Trustees, Kansas City Public Library. He has contributed to several audio cassettes exploring the relationship of jazz to the church.
