Barb Shaw lives and gardens in Eugene, Oregon, and loves to cook for friends and family. She has an MS in physiology and a deep interest in nutrition, health and the sustainability of life at all levels. She's visited over 60 countries and loves discovering how other people cook up something delicious. She's been a newspaper and magazine writer, cooked on a ship and for various groups, worked in a gigantic hotel kitchen and in the dining room. She delights in taking home grown food from her yard, to her kitchen and then to the table. This is her first cookbook.
