His articles have appeared in Consumers Digest, Crime Beat, Home Mechanix, Keynotes (trade journal of the Associated Locksmiths of America), Locksmith Ledger International, The Los Angeles Times, Safe & Vault Technology, Security Dealer, Special Reports, and other periodicals. Phillips has worked throughout the U.S. as a locksmith, safe technician, and alarm systems installer. He is currently a security consultant and freelance writer.

    Awesome Starter Text.

    Very good starter text for those wishing to know more about Locksmithing and for those who are students of the trade. The author is very to the point and offers exercises along with tips of the trade. The career information this book provides is invaluable.
