Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
For many, log homes evoke images of rough frontier living and of the Founding Fathers-though if their cabins were as fine as these they would have never left the homestead. Skinner provides a collection of more than 30 modern log homes built by Kuhns Bros. Log Homes, Inc., beautiful constructions that offer a great deal of rich wood throughout. This title largely comprises attractive colorful photos with brief descriptive text and a floor plan of each home. This is primarily a design book of Kuhn Bros. creations; while the presentation is striking, it seems to be little more than a glorified (and expensive) sales brochure. Most libraries can pass.
