Born in 1951, as a child Chance grew up in the Midwest practicing his quick draw, and chasing notorious bad men of the wild west. He believes the settlement of the west during the mid and late 1800's was the most intriguing time in America's history. He is new to the world of Authorship, and Logan's Vengeance is his first book. Now retired, he has decided to share his childhood adventures by writing about them.
Chance served in the U.S. Marine Corps for thirteen years and served in Vietnam. He has always been an avid outdoorsman, spending time in the forest and desert areas of America. He has visited many of the places included in his book and is familiar with their history and topography.
Chance was an expert shooter with a high powered Service Rifle, having shot competition while serving in the Marine Corps, and was a member of the Championship 4-man team that won the 1986, Illinois Service Rifle State Championship.
He was born in Indianapolis, IN. He has since lived in the deserts of California, and in Albany, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Chicago, IL., Washington, D.C., and several cities in Texas. He currently lives in a small town in Texas, with a population of 281.
