This is the best music production book I've ever read. It's fast-paced, never boring, and will have you producing and editing music much faster than the Logic Express/Pro documentation. I honestly have nothing else to say. If you are new to Logic, this is THE book, period.

Get up to speed fast with this book

Great book and written to be very hands on. Not your typically tech book the just regurgitates the softwares manuals. This book is very hands on example of doing real world work with Logic Pro. Also the DVD has example from simple rock tunes to full full track of song and a TV commercial with video. Want to get up to speed fast this is the book to get.

The new Logic is out and it seems that help is there too. Let just say that I am experienced Logic user with some major (or small) credits yet I find this book extremely useful. Especially if you come form Logic 7. This book is written is such manner that I can clearly understand or better yet - there is nothing to understand - if you follow the author direction you will arrive at the destination very quickly. Some of us don¿t like books because you actually have to read it but this book reads really fast and before you know it you learn so many things. There is no one who knows about Logic everything but in my opinion the author is THE ONE who knows Logic in and out.... This position is great for any level if you are in to learning your software - this is it!!!
