Meet the Author

Christine Byrne has been writing all her life. From a young age she wrote songs and poetry and continued writing into her adult years.

As a writer Christine has written about important news matters relating to the environment, that have been published on line.

The Angel Sagas are a series of fictional stories, that intertwine fantasy and modern world issues. Each individual story involves one key Angel who has a specific mission to undertake, and in order to carry out their mission they must walk as a human.

Each story within the Angel Sagas focuses on a specific topic. Loki's Path is a story about greed and corruption within a political system, the key to its exposure residing with a homeless man in London. Evangeline's Mission touches on the destructive nature man has on the planet and Jadine's battle explores a new level of terrorism, that if not stopped, could affect the security of the whole world.

When inspired by modern issues, Christine creatively sculptures a plot that joins together the issues at hand, with the fantasy of Angelic intervention.

Research for further Angel Sagas are underway, and Christine is also working on her biggest novel, "The 4th Grace" which will bring the Angel Saga's to their final conclusion.

The story was amazing. Christine Byrne crafts an intricately stunning tale of an angel, who goes by the name of Loki, from GOD who was sent to set straight the disappearance of a high politican, revealing secrets that could rock the world. Along the way, a woman named Annie, wants to be an artist, is Jim's best friend. The story begins with Jim and Annie, two homeless people, talking, and then you glimpse Loki in his pure angel form before he tells GOD he is ready, then being transformed into a human. He is still awed by the humans' abilities, which is revealed as he tries to get ahold of his surroundings. Then he seeks out Annie and Jim, and you see he clearly knows what the future holds. The next morning, he accompanies Jim to collect some newspapers, and Jim finds out Loki believes his theory of government and political corruptness. They head to Brick Lane, where they bump into Tom. After a minute, Tom recognizes Jim as Frank McFadden, a man who went missing three years ago - which is where Jim's memory begins. Tom invites them to the office, and starts questioning Jim closely. Jim, uncomfortable, asks for Annie, and Tom sends his assistent Dawn to fetch her. Dawn grumbles about it, but meets Pete, a 17-yr-old boy who is also homeless. She gives him money and he points her to Annie. That night, Tom drives the three homeless people home and gives them a house to stay in. His wife, Jenny, has called stylists in to clean them up. They all get settled in and Annie gets paints and paper. That night, Jim/Frank has a dream, which is Loki's doing, and when he wakes up, he remembers who he is. He wakes up with a scream, Loki asks what's wrong, and then they end up having a conversation in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Dawn sneaks in Pete, who finds a photo of his father. Annie, only getting two hours of sleep, has a painted a portrait. They resolve quite a few things. Then in the epilogue, Loki is dying, and explains to Annie and Frank he is an angel. Annie wonders what he looks like, so Loki sends her to get her painting. He reveals it is him in his angelic form. Then he dies.
