WAY OUT WEST

THE BADDEST MAN IN TEXAS?

A quarter-breed cowboy like Luke McClendon had no business wooing golden girl Deanna Atchley. So when Luke was sent to prison for the murder of Deanna's father, it came as no surprise. Everyone in Stone Creek, Texas, knew Luke was just no good.

Now Deanna was back in Luke's life, determined to clear his name. But the hard-hearted loner wasn't looking for redemption—only revenge. And as soon as he seduced the sweet beauty, he'd have it. But once Deanna was in his arms again, Luke wondered if the time had finally come to claim the bride who was rightfully his….

Because there's nothing like a cowboy.

After her marriage and the births of her children, Beverly continued to be a voracious reader and a devoted movie goer, but she put her writing aspirations on hold. Now, after writing over 70 books, receiving numerous awards and becoming a New York Times bestselling author, Beverly's career became her dream come true.

One of Beverly Barton's best. Loved Luke. He went through a lot in his younger days. Deanna I felt very sorry for. She was. Young, scared, and did what she felt she had to do. Did not care much for the ending. Felt it was too rushed.

Looks at a rock and picks it up with his mind. He tells it to dart at him. He doged it an through a rock at a tree. Dead on. It splits the tree in half. Picks himself up and fly off but fell and broke his rib. "Help." He said weakly. "Help me."
