"Hauntingly lyrical. Highly accomplished. Finely wrought. Fraxedas forces us to look hard at ourselves and at our notions of courage. His lonely crossing is our own." —St. Petersburg Times

"A great novel...Fraxedas writes with Hemingway's economy and a marksman's eye for precisely the right details." —Charley Reese, King Syndicated Features, New York

    Read It!!

This book is an awesome tale of a quest for the freedoms of the United States...something that natural born citizens 'like myself' take for granted everyday. The men in this novel endure many hardships with just the hope of a better life on the other side of the waters. Even if this book is not the type of work that you would normally read, try it. It will give you more appreciation for the securities that we enjoy daily. Read it with an open mind. You will gain much.
