    Discoveries~Chapter 1~A Prime and Blockade~Part 1

Quiet. Nothing has happened today, not even a recon. Ratchet said there was nothing TO recon so far today; even the Decepticons have been surprisingly quiet. I neede to get out, drive, do something other than stand around waiting for, well, nothing. Even a Prime can get restless; though we dont show it. Im on the road just outside Jasper, Nevada, driving through the desert countryside in my alt mode. Ive been considering for the last joor (hour) if i should pick up the kids, Jack, Miko and Rafael from school. And Im still not sure. It would be something to do. Strange, yes, as it is that Im not their usual ride, but its better than doing nothing while waiting for nothing. This road didnt turn to go into Jasper, there was another road on the other side of the town, the only one i knew of. I have to go the long way into the thankfully small town. Through canyons...at leat Jasper wasnt completely surrounded by mountains!
"Optimus," Ratchet's voice came through my COM link.
    "Yes Ratchet?" I replied.
    "Are you nearby Jasper?"
    "I am."
"Jack called from the school; he sounded a little panicked. And Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Arcee are Primus knows where," Ratchet said. "I dont know why he sounded panicked, but he said it was something big. He didnt give me full detail before he was made to hang up."
The only this i knew Jack would call about is Miko in detention again, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Pulling over to the side of the road, i decided to risk being seen and transformed. From where i was and the height and stand, i could see smoke coming from where Jasper's school was!
"I believe i may see the problem." I said.
"What is it?" Ratchet asked via the COM link.
"I do not know yet, but i see it." I answered. Hopefully it wasnt a meteor or Miko's imagination gone wild; nightmare.
"Close enough to help? Or do i hve to bridge you?" Ratchet asked.
"I am close enough." I said as I transformed back to my alt mode. It was at least afternoon i think? I still find it hard to not use the terms orn (day), breem (minute), or vorn (year).
"Good. Over and out." Said Ratchet.
"Over and out." I replied. I only did radio code with either Ratchet or Bumblebee; they were used to it. Turning off my COM link, i turned back onto the the black asphalt road toward Jasper. In a hurry, i decided to take my new shortcut across the sand, saving me the time of going ALL THE WAY AROUND. Once back on the road, this time IN Jasper, i turned toward the school and at the sme time turning on my human hologram in the driver's side. Black hair, cobalt blue eyes with truck driver's average overalls and shirt? Then again, Miko and Rafael are the ones who designed and described it; i couldnt see it. Pulling up at the back fence of the school on a side street, i saw what the smoke was coming from. IT WAS A CYBERTRONIAN ESCAPE POD! Human police were everywhere, keeping the children and teachers away. I cant transform here and risk everything; hopefully i can rely on Special Agent William Fowler. I spotted Jack moving through the crowd of people, waving.
    "Hey Optimus!" He greeted.
"Hello Jack, where are the others?" I asked. Jack shook his head and opened the passenger door, climbing in.
"Raf: i dont know, and Miko: same." He answered. "So what just destroyed the school?"
"A Cybertronian escape pod." I answered.
"How are we going to get it?" Jack asked.
"I do not know." I said, honking to signal Rafael. (I dont have enough room to finish. Will continue in next result!)
