Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Booksmack!
Right off the bat, this warns me to bring tampons, "tough to find in smaller towns." When I argue that I may not in fact require one (my cycle is irregular at the best of times), the book is silent. Still, muchas gracias for sounding the menstrual alarm. The rest is similarly super-informative, with pages only marginally thicker than a phone book's and a last chapter that characterizes dealing with Argentina's "machismo culture can be a real pain in the ass" for solo women travelers. This is Grade-A-Solid stuff. Douglas Lord, "Books for Dudes", Booksmack!, 12/2/10
