Confused? You needn't be, and nor will she, if you only learn to say a few greetings in Japanese. And maybe a word or two to get you around town.

I am a student of Japanese, but this little book really clears things up. Its got all the simple phrases and shows the kanji and kana used, plus it gives you ideas of verb changes and adjective changes. Its a pretty fully informed little hon! I live in Okinawa, Japan, and have traveled to many other places in mainland; this book has been a very simple yet effective tool, helping me survive in Japan. It covers phrases dealing with topics from 'my name is' (watashi no namae wa...) to 'Help!' (tasukete). I highly recommend this book if you want a simple yet effective communication tool in Japan. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
