    What good is lots of information if it's hard to find?

    The Lonely Planet guides have great information for travel, but my biggest complaint, particularly about this one is the layout of the chapters. There is a chapter of each neighborhood with a list of attractions. Then there are separate chapters devoted to lodging, shopping and dining out for each neighborhood. It would have made much more sense to include everything for a neighborhood in one chapter, rather than scatter all the information out through the book.

    This makes finding anything especially useless on an e-reader. If you're near an attraction and want to find a restaurant, you have to find the separate chapter for eating out and then find that neighborhood within that chapter and it's very frustrating.

    Again, the information is good, once you find what you need. But a travel book should be laid out in a format that makes finding what you need a lot easier.

    Great Book. Horrible Formatting

    I generally like the Lonely Planet guides and was looking forward to reading this on my Nook. The only problem is that some of the information in the book is virtually unreadable. There are a few charts and maps that just don't translate well to e-book format and seem to have just been thrown in as-is from the printed edition. Unfortunately, this does not work. However, the book itself is highly informative and is helping me plan a trip to Paris next year. I just wished the maps were easier to read. To me, it would make sense to include such book pages as separate PDF's that can be viewed separately outside of the book format, since this just doesn't work for e-books.
