Meet the Author

Brandon Thompson is a poet, a scholar, a musician and a lover of music, and a Buddhist practitioner and teacher. He has been a student of Mahayana Buddhism since 2000, and especially finds his home within the practices of lojong (mind training) and tonglen meditation. He is an Associate Core Faculty Member at Sofia University in Palo Alto, California, and spends his days joyfully guiding and humbly mentoring transpersonal scholars all over the world. Brandon has been writing poetry for most of his life, and regularly leads contemplative poetry retreats throughout the United States. He is honored beyond words to share his work with you. Brandon lives in Berea, Kentucky, a small town in Central Kentucky which has stolen his heart. In addition to his sincere hope that his work will communicate to the reader a deep sense of transformation and Path, Brandon also imagines that one might also receive images of the rolling Appalachian hills and gentle-hearted mountain community in which he makes his home.

Wyatt Locke over a year learned the truth about him and his twin

Wyatt Locke over a year learned the truth about him and his twin brother Rafe have half brother named Jack Chance. Wyatt reaches out to Jack but is rebuffed by him and anything to do with Diana their mother. Wyatt seeking to have better relationship with his brother heads to The Last Chance Ranch as surprise. Nothing is going the way Wyatt hoped Jack isn't home. The only bright spot Wyatt finds is Olivia Sedgewick. Olivia is stuck in a ditch prior to reaching The Last Chance Ranch for beauty night set up by Sarah Chance. Olivia is rescue by Wyatt and sparks fly between the two. Upon Jack's return, Jack orders Wyatt around and threatens him. Both exchange heated words and unwillingness to give an inch either. Olivia suggests camping to help Wyatt find some peace and focus. Can the two brothers make up? How important will Olivia become to Wyatt? Your answers await you in Long Road Home.

Wyatt's easygoing manner belies an understated strength and determination. Olivia brightens up the room just by her presence. Together they create heat and passion that stuns them both. Jack uneasiness about Diana leaves little room for acceptance of Wyatt. I can hardly wait to see where this relationship goes.

Living The Old. Embracing The New prolouge

John shoved her girlfriend against the hard brick wall. "Give me everything" he growled. Hi grilfriends squirmed " pase pleaee leave me alone. I dont do you any harm!!" John smacked her " of course. But im gonna give you harm....and lots of it" he gried evilly. His grilfriend screevhed but john smacked her again " shut up you!!" John reached for her skirt before....nothing * * * a empty shell clinked on the barren ground. I lifted my rifle smock coming out of the scilencer. I smiled and picked up the shell. it was still the same brass color but the insides were platered black. I stood up and groaned the bones had stiffened over time... ( kida short tbc)

    Okay...

Not the best in the series, for me the story was too easy. Not enough conflict in the romance but still a nice one.
