I love the author for her Red River series, but this new trilogy just never went anywhere. Started out okay, but became a bit tedious. The final book of the trilogy was a rushed story, trying to wrap up the storylines quickly with no real thought or emotion. No climax, just an ending that left you empty and sorry you had invested the time to read the series.

This series was the best... I couldn't put them down. All my friends have read this series and we wish there were more to it... Especially about her two sisters. If you love civilwar christian romance series you need to read this one....
