    Great cards

My 17 month old is beginning to talk a lot. These cards are great for introducing vocabulary to her. I love how there are several items to learn on each card similar items are on the opposite side. I typically don't like drawings to teach babies because they often seem so obscure and I think it is hard for a baby to understand what the items are. I chose these cards because the drawings are adorable and easily understandable. I highly recommend these cards.

    I expected more

I thought this would be a great thing to change us up from reading books. But I found that it was a little boring. At first the baby did like to look at the pictures, and the idea of making up your own story using the cards is nice, but not for me.

I also found that I don't really like the so unrealistic drawings. Its cute how it looks like a child drew all the pictures, but I don't like it for my baby. I prefer to show him pictures of real objects, or cleaner looking cartoons.

This might be nice for infant stimulation, but once the baby is 3-4 months old, I think they just like to chew on these more than let you show them everything on each card.

Maybe we will find a use for them later on down the road.
