Editorial Reviews

The Barnes & Noble Review
Maybe you think you know how to protect your family on the Web. Maybe you're wrong. Look Both Ways will warn you against stuff you never thought about. And it'll show you how to avoid those hidden dangers without cramping your style. (Well, no more than necessary.)

What's your child's blog (or MySpace page, or whatever) revealing about her? What are her friends saying online about her? Are you aware of all the new technologies predators can use to locate you? Do your own Internet postings make you vulnerable to identity theft? Are all your IM buddies really your buddies? Do you know how to use the safety settings on your child's online gaming subscription?

Linda Criddle isn't just about scaring you: She offers a complete 13-step plan for protecting yourself, including some realistic help with the toughest stuff -- like talking to your kids. Bill Camarda, from the January 2007 Read Only
