Overview

WHEN YOU GO LOOKING FOR TROUBLE... Avery Price is taking her life back. Fleeing her uber-rich, overbearing family, and an arranged wedding to a wealthy, cheating fiancé, she trades couture for country and makes her way to Trouble, Wyoming. Going incognito gives her the chance to try things the old Avery wouldn't dare, like having a sizzling, no-strings affair with her sexy new boss, Noah McDermott-and discovering he's the kind of mistake she can't resist.

Noah didn't become a successful business owner by letting people get the best of him. He knows Avery is running from something, and if getting the beautiful blonde into his bed is the only way to find the truth, well, he has no problem with that. Trouble is, Avery is everything he never expected: sassy, smart, and the kind of understanding woman cowboys like him don't deserve. Can he put his pride aside and convince this city girl to settle down with him once and for all?

"Fun and hot!"

I absolutely loved the characters. Avery has been put in a box her entire life and all she wants to do is be free and independent. She refuses to give up which I love. Noah has stood his ground with his dad but he is extremely stubborn. Avery and Noah have such chemistry but things just keep getting in the way. They are both complex, well-rounded characters. Noah is somewhat of an alpha male but not too dominant. He is very charming when he wants to be.

What a great story; Very entertaining. A great cast of characters with what I would like to say can be many other romances breaking off into their own stories (hint to Ms. Kern)! Both Avery and Noah have life issues that shape who they are and both deal with issues that open a world that neither thought they could be a part of. I love stories that are real and Ms. Kern gives you that and much more in Looking for Trouble.

    Fun Book To Read

Looking for Trouble is a fun and exciting read. Noah and Avery meet in an unexpected way and then the fun and games begin. Avery is the typical rich girl, or it looks that way, but don't judge too quickly.

Ms. Kern has written rich details into her book and great characters who are believable. The dialogue adds to the story along with the comedy that Ms. Kern interjects. I couldn't put this story down once I started. Pick up Looking for Trouble now.

    Loved it!

This was a great down to earth everyday romance with flavor. While most of us don't come from families that have wealth beyond imagining, the thought of getting out from under overbearing parents is something that many people can relate to. Finding that sexy man that will make all your dreams come true. well that is just something every woman dreams about.

The plot was smooth and very deep. The characters were built well and the interaction between them was believable and real. The details of the book were well thought out and moved smoothly from one chapter to another. There was no where I felt she should have added more, or didn't have enough.

I sincerely enjoyed this story and look forward to more of the McDermott men and Erin Kern's writing.

    Cute, Witty and Engaging

Looking for Trouble was my first Erin Kern book, but won't be my last. This was a very cute story. I loved it from beginning to end. If I had one complaint, it would be that sometimes the author tended to be really descriptive in parts of the story. I also, really didn't like the hero, Noah, being a smoker, but I suppose it made him more "human" to have at least one flaw. There was everything you look for in a contemporary romance in this story, passion and chemistry along with family drama and family love. A good read and one I would recommend.
