I was actually in the middle of reading another book when I picked this one up and I did not do anything else until I turned the last page. It was so hard to put this book down to even go to sleep. This was my first time reading a book by Beverly and I was deeply impressed with her style. She painted such a vivid description of the characters and had such a great storyline that I felt as though I were watching the tale unfold right in front of me. I can't wait to get another story written by Jo Beverly.
