I enjoyed the book. I read a number of historical romance novels.(2-3 a week) This one was average. I tend to read these novels in seguencial order. The first was better somewhat. The first in this sequence was MASTER OF TEMPTATION.

Another superbly written story by Nicole Jordan...a sensual..and unforgettable tale.. Lord Thorne: the requisite, elusive and of course strikingly handsome hero..and indeed he is a hero, as a member of the protectors called the Guardians. ( a secret society, chock full of these lovely scrumptious men). Lady Diana: the talented artistically inclined lady, with a healthy curiousity for the male anatomy...oh. !! for art's sake of course !! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did , from it's scandalously erotic beginning, to it's entirely enjoyable ending... Indulge & Be Delighted!!!

Lord of Seduction? You Bet!

I read the reviews on this one and expected a top notch book - I was not disappointed. I am a first time reader to Nicole Jordan and 'Lord of Seduction'. I expect to buy the rest of the series to find out about the men of the secret society - The Guardians. I enjoyed this book - fast moving plot line, believable characters and steamy love scenes. It's good to find a book that makes you warm when you read it - the author is making things come alive. Diana and Throne were excellent matches to one another - she strong and witty and beautiful and he vibrant, physical, dashing, honorable and handsome. All the things we like best in a heroine and hero. The only thing I didn't like is that Nathaniel was killed off - it almost felt too abrupt. He seemed like a character that was too powerful to let go but, alas...he was the necessary victim to keep this plot going. I would recommend this book and expect to keep my copy in my personal library and not share it - I only do that with the really good ones. Enjoy!

She also needs to remove Amy, from London before her budding romance with a fortune hunter becomes too serious. She also carries a letter written a year ago, by Amy¿s brother, to Thorne. It was supposed to have been delivered just after Nathaniel's murder but was just recently found. Thorne is a member of the Guardians, a secret group dedicated to protecting the weak and working for the good of mankind. Their headquarters are on the isle of Cyrene. Nathaniel was also a member and it seems he was murdered a year ago because someone had discovered his secret. The chemistry between Thorne and Diana is evident from the beginning of the book. Diana is a talented artist and when she comes across him after bathing, and is confronted with the nude form that Thorne presents she is intrigued. She is tough, willing to defend what is hers, maybe a little tarnished around the edges but straightens her shoulder, lifts her chin and is willing to confront whatever comes at her. Thorne is also fascinated by this female that is neither interested in trapping him into a marriage nor intimidated by his bullying. This is a wonderful book, Nicole keeps your interest throughout. You might be able to tell by now that I loved the book. I sat down to start it on my day off with a cup of tea and by the time I reached for my tea again it was cold. It was very hard to put down.

Jordan Stays True to Form

I had the honor of reading an AVR copy of Lord of Seduction and found the romance and sensuality of Nicole's earlier works equaled or maybe surpassed with a touch of suspence thrown in. Her characters Thorne and Diana come alive within the pages. Loved it.

I just read an advance copy of Lord of Seduction and couldn't put it down. Thorne was so sexy and heroic and Diana was a wonderful heroine who proves his match. The art background was an interesting addition to the London ton, and the plot was intriguing. I loved this book!

engaging Regency romantic suspense

He never anticipated that he wants to marry Diana as Chris has fallen in love while she tries to elude this master of temptation.--- The second ¿Guardian¿ tale (¿Paradise¿ as Ballantine calls the miniseries seems off) is an engaging Regency romantic suspense that hook readers from the moment that Nate is murdered until the final two confrontations (with the killer and between the lead duet). The story line moves fast, but also insures key secondary cast members seem genuine especially Amy and the Duke. Though the killer seems too odd of a twist, sub-genre fans will feel that Nicole Jordan has entertained them again.--- Harriet Klausner

Highly recommended for readers who love sensual Regency historicals.
