Overview

A new cover and additional questions for study and discussion grace this bestselling 28–day study (more than 525,000 copies sold) by respected teacher and author Kay Arthur. Readers of little or great prayer experience will discover practical insights to help them know how to pray, what to pray, and what to expect when they pray.

Arthur sheds light on the instructions Jesus gave to His disciples for the perfect pattern of meaningful prayer and demonstrates how the Lord’s Prayer covers worship, praise, intercession, and petition and ushers an individual into the presence of God.

This look at biblical prayer is refreshingly simple and exceedingly powerful—and it can transform the way anyone lives and prays. Ideal for individual or group study, and a classic resource for any home or church library.

The author of Beloved and His Imprint, My Expression provides intensely practical insights about how to pray, what to pray, and the much-neglected topic of what to expect when we pray, in a book that is sure to inspire a new confidence, hope, and joy in every believer who longs to enrich his or her prayer life and deepen his or her faith.

    Inspiring...

    Kay Arthur
Harvest House Publishers, 2008
ISBN: 0736923608
5 stars
Inspiring¿
Kay Arthur offers readers a study of prayer. I¿ve read that it takes 28 days for anything to become a habit. In her latest study, Lord, Teach Me To Pray in 28 Days, Arthur uses that adage to teach us to pray and for us to get into the habit of praying. Her focus is on the Lord¿s Prayer. She takes it one phrase at a time and discusses it. Arthur never writes over the readers¿ heads. She presents her message in a clear, easy-to-understand manner. Lord, Teach Me To Pray in 28 Days is an excellent study guide. It could successfully be used for individual or small group study.

I appreciate being given guidelines, an outline, indexes on how

I appreciate being given guidelines, an outline, indexes on how to pray, what I ought to be thinking about and allowing God to speak to me through prayers. I loved the insight & illumination I obtained in reading this book. Page 47 Names of God is now memorized along with Mat 6:9-13! This is good for everyone that wants to strengthen their walk with Jesus. Jesus prayed all the time for all things. Go & do likewise!
