    Interesting and different.

I'm a fan of the first three books and this is a very different take. The author said in the forward that he wanted to try different plot turns and use a different narrative tone and he certainly did. Reads very much like Tolkien and has a different story than Books 1-3.

If you are a fan of the "BSG" franchise, then the whol

If you are a fan of the "BSG" franchise, then the whole trilogy will appeal to you! I had a quiet winter break and delved into all 4 over break form college and finished them all.
Even without a background of "BSG" knowledge, if you have a knowledge of Greek and Roman political and religious structure, you should also find these books very entertaining!

Entertaining, but a let down after the first three

This is a slower read than the first three. The language choice is part of it. Enjoyable... but a not what I had expected.

    Okay

Interesting companion to the first three books. But I didn't really care for the "angel" theory.

The ending on this book wasn't so good. Had way too many things to include at the last minute.

    Near to waste of time

For real, this book was bad.. No character development, seemed like its all one person, no difference between them, all going in one boring line.

Author tried to use some stories from ancient times, but it was too much distraction from plot. Eg. the angels shuold be different: they have been in so many worlds with different life forms, but still in here they were from beginning acting like humans - that doesnt make sense, they should be special...

I prefer the trilogy, but it's still good

I liked Books 1-3 very much and I know that this one is an "alternative universe" version of what the author did in the trilogy.

I enjoyed it. The writing style sounds almost biblical with the grammar and word choice, but I picked up on it pretty quickly. While many of the characters are the same (the gods), the story is very different and even the end of the world plays ouot differently than it did in the trilogy.

Worth reading if you want more BSG in your life.

Recommended for any BG or Caprica fan

The last of the series of books chronicling the Lords of Kobol, Edward Yeatts explores the ground that he did not take in the previous three books. He has made a very believable addition to the Battlestar Gallactica and Caprica canon, providing a back story that is very compelling to this universe.

Excellent job, great writing style. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the books!
