    Crossing Reality

If there was ever a book written that awakened a person's sense of capturing reality on a daily basis -then this has to be the ultimate guide. After reading this novel by Mr. Chopra, I remembered what someone once said to me: The bible tells us that God put Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs and created woman. But it never told us that Adam was awakened from his sleep. The book links this concept into a woven story line of one person's journey from a daily life of helping others in a country torn apart by war into an unforgettable passage of time which defies the laws of this dimension, as we perceive it through our human experience. The main character, Michael Aulden, is constantly being capitulated from one time frame into another, while trying to release himself from the manipulation of Ishmail, the world's new self-proclaimed Prophet - or was he? Aided by Rabbi Solomon and Rakhel, he learns he is one of the 36 pure souls and his destiny has already been created - the only thing he has to do is learn to recognize his soul's consciousness in order to fine-tune the vibrations of the universe.

    Not bad

This new genre of 'spiritual fiction' has many more misses than hits. I would call this one a near hit. Near because it starts out great and had me right with it until the last few chapters, then I sorta lost interest. The story takes some odd turns and although it does make some important points, it seemed to miss others. If you are interested in a good spiritual novel, check out 'The Destiny of Miro' by Julie Rae Rickard. It is a great combination of spiritual ideas in a fictional format. A great read.
