    Must read for paranormal fans

Gena Showalter has fast become one of my favorite authors with her Lords of the Underworld series. The series is fast-paced with just the right combination of conflicts that keep readers guessing about what will happen next (and I promise you won't see it coming!). The Lords are the ultimate strong males that we all love to read about and are blazingly seductive when they find that special someone. You won't be disappointed if this is a genre you enjoy. One word of caution, skip the prequel. The prequel (first book in this bundle) does not give a true feel to the series and may be offputting. Once you get into the series, you'll be hard pressed to know who your favorite Lord is. Enjoy!

Highly Recommended! A definite MUST READ!!!

If you love anything that deals with paranormal love stories and how a couples love can conquer problems. You must read the "Lord of the Underworld Series"! I have all of the current books that have been released from Showalter and I cannot wait until August to get the latest book! Just reading an excerpt will not do the book justice. They are very addictive and allow readers to step into another world and time. This series has been a favorite of not only my own, but my reading book friends as well! Also, check out her Alien Huntress Series as well. They are my favorite beach reads!!!!!

    WOW. WORTH CHECKING OUT

this bundle is worth it. the prequel book makes it easy to understand how the box was forged. even in the first book with Maddox, it gets explained how the warriors get into the situation that they are in. the whole bundle was worth it because it kept me reading from one book to the next. reading some of the series already, i feel unhappy for the characters because of what they go through all the time and the enemies they have because of the situation. some of the warriors have vengeful demons that can reak havoc if unleashed while others have passive ones. some try to exist and want what regular people want, but others still keep up the fight. it makes me wonder about the tales of mythology because the tales get lost or changed through centuries. thats why we have archaelogists always digging to fill up the holes of our history.

    Wheres the storyline??

I have only gotten through the first book in this series and in my opinion it is the worst book/short story I have read. Theres only a touch of storyline and the rest is just their attraction to one another. I have read so many paranormal romance books/series' and this one just didn't strike me as good at all.

    Great

This seies is fantastic! After reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series (my absolute all time favorite), I was looking for something similar. I next read all of the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian, which was good, but the Lords of the Underworld series rocks! I love that the author keeps us well informed on what's going on with all the lords, and the subplots keep you on the edge of your seat. I am currently on the 6th book and they just keep getting better. I wasn't sure at first how I would like the immortals since I'm such a huge vampire fan, but I find them just as great to read about.

    Great start to series!

If you like Karen Marie Moning books you'll love this series. The characters are edgy but likeable. The story lines keep you reading until you've finished the book in record time. Buying the bundle is a great money saver also. Can't wait for the next book.

    Addicting

This was recommended to me by a friend. Although I wouldn’t say that it is particularly well written, I think the author needs a thesaurus at times, it is, none the less addicting. The “prequel” wasn’t especially good, and although it provides a back story, you could certainly chose not to read it. If you do read it though, don’t just the rest of the book by it. The other books are much better.

The books are written as a stand a lone, or in the series, so there are times when she repeats information in later books that has been covered already in greater detail earlier on. I understand why it is done that way, so you can pick up the series at any point and not be lost. On the other hand when you read it from the beginning, it gets redundant and you feel the need for better editing.

All of that said, I will be picking up the other books in the series when I am done with the bunch in this bundle, because, as I said it certainly holds your interest. It is fast paced, and full of interpersonal drama. Each book focuses on a new Lord, and just when you think you couldn’t possibly like the next one more than the one you just read about, the new one is just as captivating.

    Steamy! Hot! Amazing!

By far my favorite series and author! Greek Mythology at it's finest (as far as romance novels go) :-) You fall in love with every character! The best part of this series is how they are all linked! They each have a specific story but, there is also a story line that carries through to each book! This series started my obsession with paranormal romance novels! Not just a great read but a MOST read!

After the first book you get hooked

I also agree that the first story was weak but the stories following it: Dark Night, Darket Kiss and Darkest Pleasure are great. You start to evolve with the characters and feel their pain fighting being a demon and good/human.
