About the Author

Josefa Aurora Rodrí guez Silvera(Agü imes, Gran Canaria, 1946), known as Pepa Aurora, is a Canarian teacher, writer, narrator, storyteller and poet who focuses her work on children's literature. She graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Seville, specializing in Printmaking and Design. She had her first experience as a professional illustrator before finishing her degree and later moved to Barcelona, where she worked as a graphic designer in an advertising company, and as a layout artist and illustrator in a small publishing house.
