I was a bit hesitant to buy this book thinking my 1 year old was too young for it but I am sooooo glad that I bought it. We have had it for about 3 weeks now. He LOVES it... and better yet, he has learned so much from it! He has never watched Sesame Street and would therefore have no idea who the characters are but was drawn to the book the instant I gave it to him. He loves to open the windows and will sit on his own with it for quite some time. Mostly though, I will sit with him and say the words to him in Spanish. I can now ask him to point to "el leon" (lion), or "la reina" and he will open the correct window. I was also able to teach him to say one of his first words using this book "diente" (tooth)!!!! Not only did he learn to say "diente" but he learned to point to his teeth too. I am on the hunt for more of these. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. My friend's son loves Elmo and this lift flap book is a favorite. The only difference between this and the English version is the pages with the ABC's doesn't have the ABC's; it is just the words for the objects that had been used for the English version. In other words, they didn't change it to do the Spanish alphabet. It is still highly enjoyable and a great book in English or Spanish. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
