Wow, Losing Control (A Babysitting a Billionaire Novel) by Nina

Wow, Losing Control (A Babysitting a Billionaire Novel) by Nina Croft is an exceptional read. A suspenseful and amusing prologue draws you into this erotic romance with characters that are charming, sympathetic and sincere.

Divorcee Kim Rawlings, is a security specialist and finally in control of her life. After her former husband got through with his physical and emotional abuse, she was lucky enough to escape with her life. Kim still has a few demons that present themselves every now and then, but she is able to work through most of them, with the exception of loving another man. Loving a man is very risky and Kim is determined to stay in control and never get hurt or give her heart to someone else ever again. However, she is sex deprived and needs her ever present sexual itch to be scratched, with no strings attached. So Kim sets her sites on a coworker and begins the ritual of seduction.

Former military man Jake Knight is the successful CEO of Knight Securities. He has secretly been in love with Kim since the moment he met her over four years ago. Originally hired by her father to look out for her, he is now Kim's boss, best friend, and savior. Since he is in love with her and also her boss, he has cleverly prevented her from being promoted to the highest security level, in order to keep her out of harm's way.

Jake has made all the male employees of his company aware that Kim is totally off limits. In fact, it is right of passage of being employed by his firm. Jake has waited a very long time for Kim to feel secure and due to her new found needs, it is time for him to strike. Jake has looked after her and kept her safe and sound for four years. If she is going to seduce anyone, it is going to be him.

They embark on a no strings attached relationship. The sex is mind-blowing and they both can't get enough of each other. Each encounter is hotter than the previous one. Kim believes that if she spends an entire weekend with Jake having sex, she will be able to get him out of her system forever and move on. Jake believes after a weekend of non-stop sex, Kim will realize that she loves him and they can approach a future together. And what a weekend it is!

Losing Control is chock-full of drama and spicy love scenes, concluded by a delightful and imaginative ending. Nina Croft is an accomplished storyteller, able to incorporate an engaging plot with hot, steamy eroticism. If you want to read a top-notch erotic romance, this book should not be missed.

    Loved it

    ## Loved this book. It was marvelous. I loved that the heroine was ready to have sex again after 4 years and was searching for someone to "scratch her itch". Maybe a co-worker or the handsome guy at the bar. Loved that she never even considered the hero because she was clueless that he was "into" her. He was afterall her boss and good friend. Loved that the hero was jealous of these guys. It was done quite well without him coming off like an ass. Did I want to smack the heroine a couple of times for trying to push away this amazing man? Oh, hell yeah. But nonetheless, this was one fun and sexy read. Did I mention the hero was hotness personified? Oh yes, he most definitely was.

    Hot Sex, Rushed Story

Nina Croft has a flare for the sexy parts. But the rest of the story lacks detail and seems rushed and too neat to believe. It's an okay read if you skip to the sexy parts but the rest leaves you wanting more character development. I really wanted to get into Kim and I REALLY wanted to go swoony over Jake but, despite the author's best attempts, still comes off as a total jerk.

If you decide to read Losing Control by Nina Croft, you are real

If you decide to read Losing Control by Nina Croft, you are really in for a treat. I found this book to be teasing and fun. It’s my first from Nina, and I found her writing to be engaging with a smooth flow.

Kim is a security agent, and she’s become best friends with her boss, Jake, who is also the owner. They do things like go skiing, have movie night, and generally buddy buddy stuff. Jake was really there for her in the past when Kim really needed a friend. She had just got out of an abusive marriage, and needed to get back on her feet. Present day, Kim feels like she needs to get her groove on and she is looking to the men in her company. Jake gets wind of this and well, let’s just say he has other plans for Kim. He wants her for his own, and Jake always gets what he wants.

Ok, let’s start with Kim. I absolutely loved this girl. She was naïve to the point of hilarity. Blind to the fact that this beast of a man, Jake, was completely into her. And when she figures it out, she takes steps to make him less attracted to her. The silly girl actually manages to make herself even more sexy and is just clueless to it. But under that, there is a scared woman who has had a horrible past. She is trying to overcome that, but she just isn’t going about it the right way at all.

Jake is fantastic. The man is so clever, he is a damned genius, I tell you! His antics over Kim had me giggling, especially when some of his employees clued Kim in on the speech they were given upon her employment. When Jake gets the opportunity to get closer (and by closer, I mean wayyyy closer) to Kim, he jumps at the chance. And the man has some seriously sexy hotness going on. He is imaginative and he brings the heat in some major ways.

When it comes to sex in Losing Control, there are a lot of fun times. This author teases you sometimes, without letting you get to the um, final goal. It was great to feel the tension and frustration right along with the characters.  Both Kim and Jake have control issues, meaning neither wants to lose it, and so seeing them come together is something that is terrific on so many levels!

All in all, I really enjoyed this book. The characters were fun, yet they had heart.  They flirted and played with each other in a way that had me eager to see what each new day brought.  The sexual heat was mind blowing. The drama was definitely present and accounted for. Jake is a man to love, and Kim is a fireball of fun. I definitely recommend!

Losing Control is part of Nina Croft¿s Babysitting a Billionaire

Losing Control is part of Nina Croft’s Babysitting a Billionaire Series and the first of her work that I have read and I’m thrilled to have come across this story.  What a hot, sexy, enjoyable read!
Finally, Kim feels like her life is on the right track.  She had the strength to put her abusive ex-husband in her past four years ago and has been moving forward since then.  Having a dream job in her best friend, Jake’s, security company as a security specialist has given her the confidence and skill to make sure she never repeats the mistake she made when she was young and vulnerable.  Now she’s on a new mission….hot sex.  She’s been so focused on not needing a man that she’s now painfully aware that she hasn’t had one in a really long time.  Luckily she works with some prime pieces of beefcake and she’s certain one of them will be more than willing to help her scratch her itch.
Jake has been watching over Kim since she started working for him four years earlier, and while he’s been watching over her, he’s watched himself fall head-over-heels in love with her.  He knows she’s had a really rough past and that her ex-husband really did a number on her and has all but ruined her outlook on love.  He’s hoping that he can be the one to show her that not all guys are abusive and love really is a great gift.  He’s been waiting patiently for the right time to start showing his affections….but as soon as he realizes she’s becoming a little too flirty with the new hire, he knows he’s gonna have to speed up the process.  There’s no way any other guy is going to Kim.  She’s been his since he laid eyes on her….she just doesn’t know it yet.
Jake certainly has his work cut out for him when it comes to Kim, and even though he’s pretty much convinced her that he is the perfect guy to scratch her itch, sex and love are two completely different things.  Will he have what it takes to break down her defenses?
Yum, this was one delicious story!  Kim is a kick-ass gal and she really has had a rough past.  I really admired her determination to move past that crappy hand she had been dealt.  She really had a lot to overcome emotionally and I was worried she wouldn’t be able to.  Jake is the ultimate good guy.  He understands Kim and her situation and is willing to do whatever it takes to win her heart.  He is deliciously sexy with sex appeal to spare but knows when to tone it down for Kim’s sake.  On the flip side, he turns it on hardcore when he knows Kim is ready.  Man, there were some smexy scenes in this book!  Jake is equally sweet and caring which really rounded him out well.  The ending was totally perfect and I let out a happy “awwww”!
If you’re looking for an easy-to-get-into-and-get-lost-in kind of story, this is definitely a book that should be on your list! Thank you, Nina, for a sexy and sweet read!

Jake, Jake, Jake...sigh...That man is yummy! The only real conflict between the characters was mostly caused by Kim's own mind and stubbornness. I love the fact that Kim is a badass. She is trained in martial arts and shoots a gun like no one else can. After some heavy thinking Kim and Jake finally give into their desires and have some seriously hot sex on the desk in Jake's office-that's right I said office-he knows he will never turn back but she's terrified. After hiding for a while she decides to have enough sex with him to get him out of her system. Of course that plan backfires and lots of naked things happen! :) This was a really fun read. There isn't much more I love in a book than a strong man and woman fighting the inevitable. I absolutely loved the ending and I can't wait to read more in this series!
