“This was one of those books that you just can't put down! Excellently written with a taste of more to come!” Candydawq*Warning - This series is not for those looking for a light easy read. It is filled with rough language, sexual tension, and steamy hot romantic suspense!

• A hit and run.
• A deserted country road.
• A parents worst nightmare.

On a warm fall morning in Gardiner, Washington, Richard and Maggie celebrate happy couple Sam and Marcie's return. What happens next changes their lives forever. A hit and run driver on a deserted country road, and Richard and Maggie suffer a parents worst nightmare.

Now a year later Maggie McCafferty struggles to put her life back together...hiding her pain with outrageous behavior and her own secret she's unwilling to share. Until her friends step in and her strong willed soon to be ex-husband sets out to bring Maggie home-- the only way he knows. Just as Maggie begins to trust again, Dan McKenzie calls after disappearing for over a year. But now he's back. And instead of Richard coming clean with the truth of their involvement, Richard digs himself in deeper, with mounting debts, a partner who refuses to buy him out--secrets shared only with Dan. Until one night a mysterious 911 caller witnesses a fight and Richard shooting Dan. But when the police arrive at the deserted construction site the only evidence of a crime is a pool of blood, and a surveillance video.

Under mounting pressure from the police Richard's arrested and interrogated -except fiery secretive Richard is adamant he was home all night. In this bizarre twist of fate, Sam, Marcie and Diane work against the clock and wonder how well they really know their evasive friend. With Maggie by his side, Richard stands by his innocence. Trouble is, if Richard didn't do it, where is Dan? And who is the mysterious 911 caller?

Lorhainne Eckhart has the ability to make anything interesting.

Lorhainne Eckhart has the ability to make anything interesting. The way she writes, you are immediately drawn into whatever novel you're reading and Lost and Found is no different. It was another one of her books that I just couldn't put down. Though I'm normally not a fan of this genre, I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to others. Whether you enjoy romantic suspense or not, you're going to enjoy this book.

    Ok

Ok story. Obviously the author supports many "causes" that she tries to incorporate in her stories. This seems a little preachy.
One thing that distracted me from being able to get involved was the many times a character used the"flat of a hand" to do something and tossed a coat/jacket over the back of a seat/couch/chair/railing.
Sorry, i won't be reading the other books in the series.

    Good read

Although i am more into suspense novels as opposed to romance, this novel carried both attributes. It wasnt a cliff hanger yet kept my interest. I really got into the characters i will say. Interesting plot but i like deeper suspense. I may read another and give this author another oppirtunity to capture my interest.

    Great read

When I first started reading I felt as if I'd missed something, but it does stand alone and does a good job of explaining the characters. I plan on reading the first book in the series before continuing the series. I enjoyed the book even though it was mostly dealing with so many sad events.

    Good

Enjoyed from beginning to end. I haven't read book 1 of the series, which would probably give some history to the characters and events, clarifying things, but I enjoyed this book without the history. Good job!
