Meet the Author

Max was born in a library, surrounded by books from all over the galaxy. His gypsy soul never stayed in one place for very long as he traveled the universe, having many great adventures, all while lying on the carpet floor in the living room. His story telling abilities have been compared to Robert Patterson and Tom Clancy, without all the boring details. Today he lives in a hanger just north of Houston, Texas where he soars through the clouds on Wings of Gold, writing and telling wonderful stories.

The story is inspiring and the poetry is really deep. So much of the contents of each line written hit home with me. While I wasn't hit with an epiphany I was given some insight into some of the things that I do deal with every day of my life. Thanx for showing me a part of ur soul, that matches mine.

Kind of awkward...starts with poems [a few are ok] then goes into an odd story about moving and fighting, the author means well...

This poorly written piece was neither raw, insightful, nor entertaining. Its reads as if from a dictation of freudian psychoanalysis. Perhaps this is what he was going for, but for myself, it lacked any true insight into the deeper thoughts, emotions, etc. That could have been a genuinely good memoir. I would love to see a re-write, as the 'bones' of his life story are inspiring, if he could look beyond the surface of his own life events.

Its sad to think of how many kids are bullied and tortured every day, this was a powerful little books that describes their feelings and sense of loss, it also gives hope to those lost souls, God bless and shower your grace on those who seek you, thanks to the author for your insight and i pray that you continue to open peoples eyes to the crisis of bulling and depression,

I would like to thank everyone who has read and downloaded this book. This collection is very near and dear to me as I have known many people who suffer from depression. I just wanted to share my experiences with the world and to let those who feel like they are alone, you have an shoulder to lean on. Please pass this on to others and again, thank you. Max M. Power

The life story at the end was interesting, the poems were redundant and depressing and the essays or short stories whatever they were are really boring.
