Private investigator Jack Elton is called upon to unravel the mystery behind the missing youth and the late night caller. Along with his friend Val Cummins, he tries to track down the kidnapper. The missing girl is the daughter of a well-known and influential man. First, Jack has to find him. Then he has to gain his confidence and keep him from jeopardizing the case. It is a game of beat the clock as Jack works with the police to reunite father and daughter and to bring her abductor to justice.

Meet the Author

Robert (Bob) Scott is an author, pastor and para-funeral. He lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, with his wife, Shirley. Bob has been interested in writing since his early school days. He was privileged to have, among his university professors, the late Canadian author, Mordecai Richler.

He is presently working on his next novel, as well as a collection of his humorous short stories about the fictional town of Stevensborough.

Bob is a member of Crimewriters of Canada.
