Ok for newbies end-users - not much use to anyone else

Ok for non-technical people who need to use Notes for email and maybe use some Lotus Notes applications. This book is of limited use to Power users and no use to advanced Lotus Notes technical professionals including developers and administrators.

    Good Overall

Definitely helps newer user of Designer R5 get a handle on all of the features and what the program encompasses. It gives step-by-step tutorials as well as detailed explanations of the more important and more often used features. The author's did a good job. They covered just enough to give you a good grasp of what you can do with R5, but toned it down just enough so that us newer users aren't bogged down with technical terms and long hours of reading. If you have just gotten into Lotus R5, you should do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book. At only about $20, it is quite worthwhile!
