I am a huge fan of movie soundtracks, but this is by far my favorite! The entire cd is an excellent mix of Christmas and non-Christmas songs, perfect for anytime of the year. I sometimes find myself craving the music from this soundtrack. Eva Cassidy, Dido, Norah Jones, Maroon 5, The Calling, Olivia Olsen, it's just incredible! My only regret is that not more of the score is on it. The movie itself is one of my favorites as well, and always is the first one I reach for when I need a pick-me-up. Definitely get this movie and it's soundtrack!!!!

Want to get into the mood for Christmas? Listen to this soundtrack, it's fun and bouncy and has some great talent on it. Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Dido, they all have wonderful selections but the biggest surprise is Olivia Olson, the little girl with the big voice who does "All I Want For Christmas." This is a wonderful movie, run out and buy the soundtrack as soon as you see it.

This is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in my life. It is my second favorite CD next to Jewel "Pieces of You." If you enjoyed this movie, you will love the soundtrack.

It's really amazing to me how music that has nothing to do with Christmas can make me feel the same way that normal Christmas music can. Love Actually is filled with Christmas music, but also has many other tracks that normally would have nothing to do with Christmas. This is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite albums of all time. If you love British humor and Christmas WATCH THIS MOVIE and you'll see what i mean about the non-Christmas music having the same effect.

What's remarkable about this soundtrack is that each song included evokes the same emotion that its corresponding scene in the film did. Its mix of classic rock and pop is refreshing, Kelly Clarkson, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, Maroon 5, Sugababes, Texas and Dido make an excellent ensemble. Eva Cassidy's Songbird is touching and poignant, The Pointer Sisters' Jump (for My Love) is a perfectly chosen piece for the film, and Lynden David Hall's All You Need is Love is entertaining. Despite its minor failings (not nearly enough score pieces and too few Christmas songs), this is an excellent soundtrack. The bonus tracks alone are worth the cost of the CD, including "Billy Mack's" (Bill Nighy from the film) Christmas is All Around, Otis Redding's White Christmas and the incredibly talented pre-teen Olivia Olson's All I Want for Christmas.

The über-romantic comedy Love Actually has an über-romantic comedy soundtrack to match, collecting love songs old and new as well as sassy and empowering tunes. Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is" manages to be romantic, sassy, and empowering all at once, with her vocals reflecting their urban ballad surroundings. An emphasis on songs from British artists, such as Sugababes' "Too Lost in You" and Texas' "I'll See It Through" keep the soundtrack from becoming too predictable.
