Nathan hadn't kissed her like that, but Ezekiel would have no way of knowing it. His overtures had been bold, like he was, daring. Not sensitive and giving like this.

Ezekiel pulled back and unspeaking, tucked her head to his chest. One of her hands raised, almost involuntary, scooping beneath his shirt to a place in the center. "I'm not Nathan," he said quietly.

Overview

Nathan hadn't kissed her like that, but Ezekiel would have no way of knowing it. His overtures had been bold, like he was, daring. Not sensitive and giving like this.

Ezekiel pulled back and unspeaking, tucked her head to his chest. One of her hands raised, almost involuntary, scooping beneath his shirt to a place in the center. "I'm not Nathan," he said quietly.

No, he wasn't, and she understood that now. He was different and deserved to be seen on his own terms. "Who are you then?" she asked.

"Ezekiel Knapp. Right now, the luckiest man on the planet."

-----

The death of Clementine Button's husband left her to fend for herself in the wilds of Alaska, and she was doing pretty well until one cold day after the first snowfall when she shot a moose.

And a man. Or did she? Because the wound in Ezekiel Knapp's leg seems all wrong for her gun, and now, his life hangs in the balance.

Everything that brought about her husband's death seems to have come full circle again. Only this time, the last thing she's going to do is wait and let another man die. Especially not one who in three days has managed to become everything she needs.

From best-selling author, SUZANNE D. WILLIAMS, comes another romantic suspense where love beats all the odds.

Love After Snowfall by Suzanne D. Williams is a quick easy read and a very enjoyable story. Clementine Button has been widowed for a year and is doing fine living alone in the wilds of Alaska. When she goes out hunting for moose, everything changes for when she shoots the moose she also shoots Ezekiel Knapp. Since there is no one near to help her, she takes Ezekiel to her house and tends to his wound. However, when she removes the bullet, she realizes that it is not her bullet. This information brings fear to Clementine for she realizes that someone is out in the woods and is putting her life as well as Ezekiel’s in danger. Clementine knows that she must get Ezekiel to a doctor to save his life and not try to save him herself as she had done with her husband. Suzanne did an excellent job in the development of the characters and their dialogue as well as all other elements of the story. From the first page, I was drawn into the story and was living it right along with Clementine. There were a few twists and turns to the plot and each one made the story more interesting. There was just enough suspense in the story to keep me guessing as to the identify of the villain. I was actually surprised when he was revealed. I liked that Ezekiel had a strong faith in God and that he worked to get Clementine to renew her faith in God. The ending of the story was not a big surprise but it was a great ending. I highly recommend this book to everyone that enjoys a good Christian romance that also has a good deal of suspense woven into the story. Thanks to the author, Suzanne D. Williams, for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Looking for something a little different?  This would be the book!  It's a quick read that starts off in Alaska.  A stranger, a widow, footprints and a moose get you started off. This book keeps you interested as the adventure continues.  Give this book a try, it's worth the time.
