While Peggy was caring for my children, she was also caring for me, teaching me about my own children, and providing support like an aunt or mother. It's wonderful that other parents can now have the benefit of Peggy's advice and support by reading this charming book!

A very useful book for Parents, Teachers and Administrators!!

In my work as a director of a semi-cooperative school for 34 years, I'm ofter asked questions about child development, adjusting to new siblings, sleep, kindergarten readiness and more by our families. Here is a book to answer their questions and more! The authors, an experianced child care provider and a pediatrician, have just the right combination of warmth, practical advice and medical knowledge to answer parents' questions in an engaging and informative fashion. I recommend this book to families looking ofr some useful answers.

    EXCELLENT!

THIS is the book I wish I had as a new mom! The book provides information on everything new parents need to know, especially if they are trying to sort out child care options for their new baby. The authors, an experienced child care provider and a pediatrician, are warm and encouraging, and never patronizing or guilt-tripping. What a great concept to combine the perspectives of the pediatrician and the daycare provider! The two voices complement each other very well and I really liked the publisher's use of the red and black print to distinguish who is speaking. The book is very readable with short, info-packed chapters and lovely drawings of children sprinkled throughout. This is a GREAT gift for baby showers and new parents-I have done so several times and received grateful feedback from the new parents!
