Overview

After five and a half years Meechie has walked away from her relationship with her boyfriend Shad and ran right into the pockets of his cousin Rodney! To her it's not about love because love doesn't pay the bills! The way that she sees it, she's too fly to be working a nine to five! She deserves to be spoiled and pampered, which is exactly the purpose that Rodney serves. But everybody knows nothing in life is free. What price is she willing to pay for the lifestyle that she wants to live?
Rodney is a well-paid "street pharmacist" who's only focus is to get money. His intentions are good when it comes to holding his woman down and making sure that she has everything that she needs and wants but will they remain that way once he finds out that Meechie is only in it for the paper?
Shad is determined to have something in life through hardwork and determination. He refuses to end up like his brother Shannon who is serving a ten year bid as a result of running the streets and chasing a fast come up. After losing the woman that he loved an old aquaintance re-enters his life.
Jada is a beautiful, successful young woman, who seems to have it all figured out from the outside looking in. She has her own business, a beautiful home, a fly whip and money in the bank but no one knows the secrets from her past that still haunts her. She has had her eyes on Shad for years and when fate steps in and reunites the two she believes that this is her opportunity to finally steal his heart. There is only one thing standing in her way... his ex-Meechie. The hate between these two run deep. Is Jada's love for Shad deep enough to keep her hanging on through all of him and Meechie's drama?
Love and Paper is a drama that takes you on a wild and scandalous ride and proves sometimes love just isn't enough...

    Disappointing

Though an easy read this book was very boring. It seemed to build you up for a great story line but it was such a disappointment.
