Eighteen years earlier, Charma lost her destined soul mate. Convinced he must be dead, she's kept her fears to herself so as not to destroy the morale of the Outsiders who already live with a shaky prophecy as their only guide.

Dr. Jason Randall is a man used to getting what he wants. There has never been a problem he couldn't out-think or a situation he wasn't capable of handling, until his life changes in ways he could never imagine.

Now they are being hunted by not one but two demons while they strive to lead the slowly growing group of Outsiders out of the darkness and back into the light. The two strong souls will have to decide if prophecy alone is enough reason to stay together through insane odds--or if love is their true fate.

Meet the Author

As a teenager, I would hide in my room to read my favorite romance novels when I was supposed to be doing my homework. I hope, these days, that my parents think it was worth it.

I am the mother of three adorable boys and I am fortunate to be married to my best friend. We’ve just moved from New Jersey to Texas where I am learning to love Barbecue!

I am in love with science fiction, fantasy and the paranormal and try to use all these elements in my writing. I've been told I'm a little bloodthirsty so I hope that when you read my work you'll enjoy the action-packed ride that always ends in romance. I love to write series because I love to see characters develop over time and it always makes me happy to see my favorite characters make guest appearances in other books. In my world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Dr. Jason Randall believes in facts and science. When he was 12, he made a decision to stop dreaming of the girl on the hill as there was no place in his life for fantasies. Now at almost 30, he's stuck inside his head with something evil he thinks is another figment of his imagination. When the now full grown version of his 12yr old friend also appears, he thinks his brain is working overtime and refuses to believe her when she tells him she's real. Charma is one of 18 of a special race called Outsiders. When she was young, she dreamed of her other half, her perfect mate and couldn't wait to find him. When she was 12, he disappeared from her dreams. Thinking the evil demons found and killed him, she mourned the loss. When she and another Outsider find Jason in a coma, she can't believe he's still alive. When she uses her powers to try to get him out of his coma, she gets trapped in his head and infuriated when he refused to believe she's real. When they finally break free and Jason has to deal with this new reality, he must convince Charma to forgive him. After seeing her "cousin" Kal find his destined mate, Charma is happy for them, but longs for the mate she believes is dead. During the book, she goes through a lot of emotional changes, including finding inner strength to fight the demons that she never knew she had. Jason's life and thought process does a complete 360 during the book. He goes from being a scientific doctor to a warrior with great powers. I loved the continuation of the Outsiders series. I dove right into this book and didn't stop until it was done. The growth, change, and acceptance the characters go through in this book was very enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this series.

I was given this book by the author for my honest review. I have to say that from a personal perspective that this book has reached my expectations for a series book. It left me wanting more and I am excitedly looking forward to the next book(s) in the series. I really enjoyed how the author jumped right into Charma’s story and kept true to it throughout the whole book. I was able to become emotionally attached to the characters which left me on the edge of my seat. This book became a real page turner for me and I can’t wait to see this goes and what the author has in store for us. Based on this book what I really am excitedly waiting for is to meet the other characters (especially if their story lines are as interesting as Charma’s) be that either more in depth for the ones that have been introduced or to initially meet the ones that have been hinted at.

What's not to love. You have action, magic, good versus evil, and lots of love. The characters and the story line are unique. Would recommend to anyone who like fantasy and/or paranormal. Nikki Mann

Well, I was definitely right about this series, it does keep getting better and better!  Well done, Rebecca Royce!  I have to confess that I actually read book 3, Love Beyond Loyalty first.  I’ve only just recently started reading the first two books, and I’m soooo glad I did!  These books really do build on one another, and although I greatly enjoyed Book 3 in it’s own right, reading the first two books has filled in a lot of blanks for me.  These books are all so well written, and the characters, although magical in nature, are all so relatable and for lack of a better word, human.  You just can’t help but to be drawn into their lives.  This second book in the series reunites another set of soul mates, Jason and Charma, who are just too sweet for words, once Jason admitted she was real, that is.  Marina’s reluctant soul mate Drew makes an appearance as well.  I swear, will Drew ever pull his head out of his magical Outsider a$$?  Poor Marina.  I mean seriously!  What’s a girl gotta do?  She truly deserves better... which of course is Drew’s warped argument for staying away from her in the first place.  Argh!  Drives me crazy!  As you can tell, I’m pretty passionate about this series.  This book and this series has everything you could possibly want... drama, romance, magic, angst, intrigue, love, and a little humor thrown in for good measure.  Trust me, you can’t go wrong with either this book or the series.  You’ll truly love both!   * I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Love Beyond Sanity (The Outsiders book 2) by Rebecca Royce Hail! Hail! Nope, the gang's not all here yet, but they are still working on it. Introduced a new character. Love when this happens. Even though I know there a more books in the future for this series, the new character just reinforces that fact. Again, not going into a lot of detail. It would be so easy to write to spoil things. Lots of new powers or talents or abilities. There are many names for those special skills. They just keep getting better and better. Good vs Evil. Something that will go on for eternity, but does one ever think about how things are kept in balance? Read the Outsiders series by Rebecca Royce. This is one explanation where you will get many reading hours of enjoyment. *ARC given for an honest review*

I must say that this series is definitely getting better. The first book ‘Love Beyond Time’ was difficult for me to get into so it was with great delight that I didn’t have that problem at all with this book. The drama was nonstop and all the Outsider family so far was there. Marina, Leonardo (my personal favorite), Kal, Isabelle, Drew, Gabriel and Charma, that’s Karma spelled with a Ch. My little personal pet peeve was the darn spelling of her name. I kept thinking Ch as in (charm) throughout which was a bit annoying. Her soulmate Jason doesn’t believe she is real. which gets him into a whole heap of trouble with Charma before she forgives him. They were a fun couple to read about and their romance was very sweet once Jason realized she was real. I must say though that there is starting to be so much going on with several of the characters in this book that I didn’t mind at all when she switched scenes from the main characters to the other ones. Sebastian’s evil demon sister (named Self-loathing by Jason) has a turn in this book. She has been tormenting Jason in his mind, hence the reason he is in a psych ward when Charma finds him. But in case you were concerned that Sebastian wasn’t in the picture, don’t be. He is up to his usual vile, evil shenanigans. Rebecca did a great job in this book letting you know the history of the Outsiders without it feeling like ‘fact dumping,’ so there was a much smoother transition in the action sequences because of it than the previous book. There is starting to be so much going on with all of the characters, and we get inside their heads, so I wouldn’t consider this a stand alone book. This is actually a re-release of the same title, different publisher, from several years ago. I happen to own the original version, and skimming quickly through that one after reading this version, there didn’t seem to be much in the way of major revisions between the two books so if you have already purchased the original version from several years ago I don’t think you need to purchase this version. I am off to read “Love Beyond Loyalty’ now because I can’t wait to see what happens with Gabriel and his soulmate! If you are undecided about purchasing this sequel, don’t be, because Rebecca hits her stride with this one and the story starts to move very quickly. It’s well worth the read. *The author gave me a complimentary copy of this re-release for an honest review.

On to book two in the Outsiders series – Love Beyond Sanity. Dang these re-release covers are HOT. I would love to have a peek into Rebecca Royce’s brain sometime. She comes up with some really twisted scenarios for her characters. Marina has found another of the missing Outsider children. But with Leonard, Kal, and Isabelle in Europe, the retrieval duties fall to Marina who convinces Charma they can’t wait for the others to return. The one major problem Charma has, mentally ill people have an adverse effect on her. She’s unable to pass a soul in need of assistance, which not only drains her physically but mentally as well, the mentally insane cause her the most overall pain. Once they get to the mental ward, Charma realizes the newly found Outsider is her soul mate, they one she believed dead when he disappeared from her dreams eighteen years earlier. Now she has to decide to help him, even though he abandoned her. Dr. Jason Randall put his childhood fantasies from his mind at the age of twelve, and committed to live in the real world. Through the years he forgot about the odd dreams he shared with the beautiful girl, forgot the strange things he experienced, forgot his innate ‘otherness’ and engulfed himself in the human realm. When he falls into a coma, and the girl appears once more – fully grown – he knows he’s gone crazy. The added twists of Sabastian (the Evil One) and his demented sibling fighting each other for the Earthly dimension, Gabriel discovering the truth about Sabastian and tring to figure out how to save Alexa from his evil clutches, the 2nd Outsider Marina wasn’t sure existed until she and Charma got to the mental ward, and Drew’s continue denial to Marina of their soul mate status, and you get Love Beyond Sanity a page turning adrenalin rush.
