Meet the Author

As a teenager, I would hide in my room to read my favorite romance novels when I was supposed to be doing my homework. I hope, these days, that my parents think it was worth it.

I am the mother of three adorable boys and I am fortunate to be married to my best friend. We’ve just moved from New Jersey to Texas where I am learning to love Barbecue!

I am in love with science fiction, fantasy and the paranormal and try to use all these elements in my writing. I've been told I'm a little bloodthirsty so I hope that when you read my work you'll enjoy the action-packed ride that always ends in romance. I love to write series because I love to see characters develop over time and it always makes me happy to see my favorite characters make guest appearances in other books. In my world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

I wish I had known about this series long before. I love the world of the Outsiders series so much. Every outsider has a unique power to save the human race from demons. Eden Roan is a outsider, with a gift of prophecy. But, Eden cannot control her gift and passes out every time she gets a vision. Eden was treated as a child or an imbecile by other outsiders. In addition to this, Eden's soul mate do not wish to meet her, but he speaks to her in her head. The demon, who is chasing them, is also in her head to make her insane, and he tells her that he has killed her soul mate, when he was 12 years old. Eden is not so sure about anything anymore, even with the gift of prophecy. Samuel Quinn was almost killed, when he was 12. He was burnt inside a locked closet by a demon, but by some miracle he escaped. But, he lost his normal face and even his parents cannot see his scarred features. But, being an outsider, Samuel have the power of changing his features to someone else, with a just touch of that person. So, he hides his scarred face behind the new faces and he is afraid to go near Eden, his soul mate, because of this. The main plot was amazing. I didn't read the others in the series, so I took some time to really understand the world for some time. The story is like to old grandmothers - start with a simple plot and improvise it as you go. And the author has done just that, improvised a simple plot and she had done that great. The story of Eden and Samuel is like seeing a dream - their love towards one another is breath-taking. There are many sub-plots and the older stories re-touched. Some new ones are quite confusing - like that guy who can see ghosts and in the middle of nowhere, someone appears and says that he is his twin. But, to say the truth, I clearly enjoyed the whole novel, once I got the hang of what's going on. An amazing romance and fantasy novel!

**I received and ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** This is the 4th book in the Outsiders series for this author. Eden Roan was rescued by other Outsiders from a mental hospital several months before. She gets visions, some real and some false by their demon enemy, that are slowly getting worse. She also hears a voice in her head that she knows is her soul mate, although he refuses to meet her. When the rest of the Outsiders are going on a mission and are leaving her behind again, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Samuel Quinn is Eden’s soul mate. While he’d love nothing better than to be with Eden, horrible burns from when the demon tried to kill him as a child keep him from meeting her. He has the ability to take other’s features, but the one time he was near her, his body tried to go back to his natural burned skin. When he senses she is leaving the safety of the Outsider’s island, he knows she isn’t safe and decides to go to her to keep her safe. I found both Eden and Samuel to be the two I’ve felt the most sorry for at this point in this series. Both of them have series self-value issues that they don’t start to be able to deal with really until towards the end of the book. Together completely, they are finally able to be a full two halves of a whole.

I fell in love with Rebecca Royce's Outsiders Series. I'm forever reading glue to her books until the end than I wanted the next book to continue the series. I'm heart broken it's not out yet. As you read book 4 it's a continuation the Outsiders group continue to look for more Outsiders. The soon to be mates find each other. Samuel knew they were supposed to be together since he was a child. The Demon Sabastian tried to kill Samuel when he was 11 years old, he almost succeeded. Because of this Samuel was disfigured and he wouldn't show his face to Eden. But he would watch her and protect her no matter what. As soon as Eden was in grave danger of Sabastian finding her Samuel stepped in and took her away for protection. This book is a must read, it has Adventure, Love, Hot Steamy Sex, Betrayal and Friends. I was gifted this ARC for a honest and truthful review.

LOVE BEYOND SIGHT (THE OUTSIDERS #4) BY REBECCA ROYCE  The fourth book in the Outsiders series this is an amazing series. Even though I never read the books in order I wold recommend reading them in the correct order for maximum enjoyment. In this book more of the outsiders join the group and find and join as units with their soul mates they then become stronger as a person and as a group. When Leonardo and Marina are knocked unconscious by a trap that Sebastian had set, Eden and Samuel come up with a plan to save them. The only way to save them is to kill Sebastian’s human body which will release his evil spirit setting it free to cause all the chaos that he wants to cause and to complete his plan for world domination and use the humans as animals.  All that stands between this happening and the humans continuing living in ignorance is The Outsiders and all18 need to be together and joined with their soul mates to stop this happening.  Rebecca Royce is a masterful story teller and I am looking forward to reading the final instalment and to meet the final four outsiders.   This is a must read story and as I received this Arc for an honest review I don’t think anyone will be disappointed.

All I can really say is that this series keeps getting better and better. This is Samuel and Eden's story though it doesn't center entirely around them. There is quite a lot that is happening in this book. So if you were expecting a romance just about the main characters you will be disappointed. Eden has the gift of prophetic visions and Samuel has the ability to change his face to look like anyone that he touches. These abilities play a vital role in this book and move the story along quite a bit.   Everyone from the previous books is in this one with some of their stories moving forward enough to help set up their own future books. New Outsiders are also introduced into the mix.  Sebastian is as evil as ever and Alexa is well, a rather hopeless cause I think. The typical 'too dumb to live heroine' is what she is at this point in my mind. My heart just bleeds for poor Leonardo. As any of you know who have read any of my other reviews on the earlier books, Leonardo is my favorite. Something bad happens to him in this book that makes him have to see and experience something very traumatic involving his soulmate Alexa and Sebastian. To say any more would just make me want to vomit. My poor beloved, traumatized Leonardo!  I still haven't figured out how Rebecca will be able to fix all the damage she has created for their eventual book. I will just have to trust in her. Though at this point if Sebastian were to decide to drain Alexa dry, as he fantasizes about on a fairly regular basis, I really would be cheering him on. Sad I know, but Leonardo deserves better than the stupid twit she is still proving to be.  This is a reissue of the same book from a few years ago and if you have purchased that one I don't believe you really need to repurchase this one. I have the original and it hasn't seemed to have changed much at all in this latest release. At this stage the book is definitely not a stand alone. You could probably follow along but there's so many things going on related to the previous books I think you would be lost if you hadn't read them before attempting to read this one. Though Eden and Samuel have some good sex scenes in this book there is nothing shocking or overly descriptive in them to overheat you. That could be my biased opinion though since I read a lot of erotica so contemporary romances can be a little bland to me now.  I look forward to the next book in the series and eventually, as the 9th and last book, Leonardo's story. I'm not positive that she is saving his story for last but it seems pretty likely with the way it's going. *A complimentary copy of this book was given to me to read by the author for a fair and honest review.

Well, I have one word to describe the fourth Outsiders book "Love Beyond Sight" and it's "Wow", just "WOW"!!! I mean, seriously... so much going on, so much excitement, so many new outsiders, so many surprises, and not one, but two soul mates brought together! The question is, will Drew actually stick around this time? There's no doubt Samuel's here to stay. His and Eden's bond is real and it's strong, and you best believe that boy's not going anywhere! The new Outsiders, just like the existing characters, are so interesting and relatable and you instantly feel as if you know them. You just can't help but root for them. If this series doesn't end with a HEA for all the Outsiders, including poor shell-shocked Leonardo, I may just lose my everlovin' mind! Well done Ms. Royce. Very well done indeed. I'm chomping at the bit to read the next installment, "Love Beyond Expectations". I know it will be just as good or better than the other books... and that's saying something!   * I was given an ARC of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow!  This story covers a lot of ground.  I recommend reading the others books before this as it will add to your understanding and enjoyment.  Well written and fast paced this is Sam and Eden’s story.  We didn’t know much about either till now except that Eden was rescued from the mental hospital and Sam was thought to be dead.  Rebecca Royce masterfully takes these two damaged characters to a point where they can fall in love but I will admit there were times I almost threw my Kindle as Sam was acting a bit selfishly and don’t get me started on Leo.  We are given a brief glimpse of future outsiders and I am looking forward to learning more about them. Complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for an honest review.

I was given a copy of this book for my honest review. Of all the characters known to us in the series so far Eden has to be my favorite. I can completely feel for her. I understood how she viewed herself and the feeling of being alone. I also felt for her soul mate Samuel and his struggles with being himself. This book was able to touch on that broken/battered/bruised/scarred or whatever you want to call it part of what makes us each who we are. It made the characters seem more real and I was able to visualize and empathize with them much easier than any of the other characters.  This book did tend to jump around some with the story line. While normally having a book bounce around to different story lines bothers me, as I tend to have trouble keeping them straight, having it happen in this book wasn’t overly distracting and gave a bit more information on other Outsiders. It had a good flow to it, the information felt like it was necessary and I liked seeing the other Outsider characters stories expand a touch (it helped to keep them fresh in my memory) as well as it introduced a new Outsider.  I still have a bunch of unanswered questions and added in a few more which I am thrilled with as it leaves me really looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Love Beyond Sight (The Outsiders #4) by Rebecca Royce Wow. So much is happening in this book, that I really don't know how to write up a review for it. Samuel and Eden finally meet, but due to Samuels circumstances Eden isn't attracted to him like she should be. They are soul mates, but without being able to see his real face she just doesn't feel it. The good thing is that with Samuel near, Eden has more control of her visions. No more pain. Leonardo and Marina are seriously hurt when they go to Sabastians to get the journals and the only way to bring them back is to have Samuels help. A new character, Zane, is introduced and there is more on Christophe and Ruby. Alexa is reaching out to Gabriel, but she isn't sure why. So many questions, not many answers....yet. I highly recommend this series. It should be read in order as the story line goes from book to book. *ARC given for an honest review*
