Really enjoyed this book, it is a quick read. But your really find yourself wondering about Lucy, Matt, Wendy and Justin's life. I love the way Lucy journals her prayers. Really helps people understand that talking with God is having a conversation. I also like how the devotions bring out the desire that God has for our personnel lives. God truly is interested in our daily lives and this little book brings that out in a fun way. You will laugh and cry along with Lucy and at times even identify with her!!! This is the second book that I have read by Sandra D. Bricker and like the way she rights, so simple yet pulling you right into the lives of her characters.

A book that makes you want to keep on reading!

If you are ready for a feel good book, then this is the one. Love Find You in Snowball, Arkansas keeps you entertained and chuckling at the main character, Lucy, who is trying to be anyone but herself to get the man she thinks is the ¿one¿. She forgets to look right in front of her and all along the right man for her has been in front of her, supporting and being her best friend since they were both children.
True to my expectations Sandie has written another book I wanted to keep on reading and was not able to put down, I finished this in a couple of days. Sandie has a way with her words of enabling the reader to feel as if you are right there with the characters. I would find myself reading as fast as possible to learn of the next comical moment Lucy would get herself into. This is a funny book that makes you believe in love all over again. What a great read and I cannot wait for the next book from Sandie.

    Fun Romantic Comedy

Love Finds You in Snowball Arkansas by Sandra Bricker is the laugh-out-loud funny story of un-athletic Lucy Binoche¿s attempt to capture the attention of the outdoorsy new guy in her church¿s singles group. When she learns Justin Gerard signed up for the group¿s weeklong camping trip to Snowball, Lucy adds her name to the list. Sporting new athletic wear and a can-do attitude, she embarks on an adventure, sure she can endure anything to attract Justin¿s attention.

With the support and assistance of longtime friend, Matt, Lucy arrives in Snowball determined to become the gal of Justin¿s dreams. Sure he¿s the man God has for her, she puts her all into each activity. But she¿s in for surprises¿and the reader is in for some serious laughs as Lucy learns that being loved for who she is rather than the person she¿s pretending to be is far more satisfying¿and a whole lot safer.

Bricker does a wonderful job of weaving fun into her romance. I was pulled into the story by her great writing and delighted by each new development. Each chapter is a treat. The characters are fun. I grew to care about Lucy even as I laughed at the situations in which she found herself. Two characters in particular are very engaging and are used by God to teach Lucy valuable lessons in love and acceptance.

I thoroughly enjoyed Love Finds You in Snowball Arkansas and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun, well-written, engaging inspirational romance.

    A Laugh-out-loud read!

I LOVED this book by Sandra D. Brickner. The humor made me laugh-out-loud, while the depth of Lucy¿s spiritual journey made me analyze being true to God¿s plan for my life. Sandie has a real gift for weaving humor with spiritual growth, and writes a very strong story. Anyone questioning God¿s purpose in their life, and wondering if they might try to ¿help¿ Him with His job will benefit from reading it. I was reading late at night and laughing about certain scenes until my daughter asked what was so funny. I read a few scenes to her and had her laughing, too. I¿m surprised we didn¿t wake up the whole house. It was a great moment. We really laughed over the horse scene. You just have to read it. I loved the recipes included in the book, could visualize being in the story with the characters, and, because I¿m originally from that area, I LOVED the descriptions and setting. I miss the Ozarks so much! Thanks, Sandie, for a fantastic, fun read.

    Snowball Love

Love Finds You in Snowball Arkansas by Sandra D. Bricker is a page-turning romantic comedy with figurative language to keep the reader visualizing and laughing. Lucy, the main character can't see what's right before her eyes because she's too busy looking elsewhere, but God has his own gand design. The delicately interwoven message of what true love really is can't be missed, even with the laughs from Little Rock to Snowball, Arkansas. This book is an easy, light read, one to snuggle up with on a cold winter day, one to take the reader back to the days of courtship when love was fun and funny. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Barbara Robinson
Author
http://barbarajrobinson.blogspot.com/

    Laugh Out Loud Romantic Comedy!

This is a laugh out loud romantic comedy with God's will for your life as it's cental message. Sandra Brickner does a phenomenal job wrapping the two together in her first inspirational romance. Lucy Binoche is a 30-year old single woman who is searching for Mr. Right. She belives she has finally found him and in order to "close the deal" she agrees to a week long retreat in Snowball, Arkansas pretending to be someone she is not. Her best friend Matt watches the transformation and is frustrated that Lucy can't see what a fantastic person she is just as God intended her to be, no transformation needed.
This light-hearted comedy handles the deeper subject of being authentic with comedic flair and grace. A wonderful read. I couldn' put it down. I know you won't be able to either.

    I loved this book!

Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas is the perfect book to chase away the winter blues. Some women will do anything in the search for Mr. Right. Full of sass and spunk, Lucy Binoche takes her quest to the great outdoors. Readers will enjoy following along with Lucy as her journey for the perfect man turns into one of pitfalls, humor, and self discovery. In a clever twist, readers gain insight into Lucy's character through her honest and refreshing letters to God. And as for her search for Mr. Right? Is Lucy looking in the right direction, or should she stop and reassess her situation? Not only will readers enjoy the added bonus of the tasty recipes sprinkled throughout the book, they'll turn the pages in anticipation of what might happen next. Author Sandra D. Bricker is a delightful voice in Christian romace. This book is great fun, and I can hardly wait for her next one.

    A Great Book

Lucy Binoche falls in love the second she meets gorgeous Justin Gerald at her church in Little Rock, Arkansas. She gets her best friend, Matt, to introduce them, and when Justin signs up for a week-long singles retreat in Snowball, Arkansas, Lucy signs on the line right below him. So what if she can¿t hook a worm and Justin is the original outdoors man.

Immediately after signing up, Lucy gets Matt to help her learn how to hook a worm and cast a line, and even how to sit in a canoe. And even though Lucy doesn¿t exactly master the tricks in Matt¿s living room, she¿s convinced the camping trip will be a breeze, even though Lucy¿s idea of roughing it is suffering through a long line at Starbucks and staying at a 4-star hotel. How long can Lucy pretend to be someone she¿s not? Will the new Lucy snap a boyfriend?

LOVE FINDS YOU IN SNOWBALL, ARKANSAS, is the second book in the Love Finds You series, and it is a winner. I totally loved Lucy, and Matt, and all the other secondary characters. The book is funny and lighthearted, and even better, it is set in my part of the country. I enjoyed watching the characters tour areas that I¿m very familiar with.

The faith message is very well down, and not preachy. My only problem with this story is that there were liberties taken with the October weather conditions in Arkansas, but this is fiction. I loved this book and can¿t wait to read this author¿s next Love Finds You book coming in 2009. Don¿t miss this new series by a brand new publishing house.

Love Finds You in the Pages of LOVE FINDS YOU IN SNOWBALL ARKANSAS

A light-hearted and fun read. Follow Lucy into one crazy antic after another as she tries to be someone she's not in order to win the guy of her dreams. Will she get him or will she look for someone to love her for just who she is?
Real characters in real, believable situations make the reader want to turn the page in anticipation of what will happen next. As you follow along, lose yourself in images with just enough detail to make you feel a part of the story - cold when the tepmerature goes down, claustrophobic in the caves, etc.

    Well Done!

Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas is a lovely story to mark the debut of a successful author, Sandra D. Bricker, into the Christian fiction market. Lucy and Matt are instantly likeable characters, well drawn and completely believable - as are all the characters in the book. Lucy and Matt are both gifted with a sense of fun and adventure. Some of Lucy¿s misadventures put me in mind of many of the romantic screwball comedies of the forties and fifties ¿ the ones you watch over and over again. Clear and concise life lessons are deftly woven into the story without being preachy. Ms. Bricker shows her artistry as she sprinkles the tale with her imaginatively humorous metaphors, and explores her universal theme without beating you over the head with it. Summerside Press is a new publisher with new ideas. I love the idea of a series of books that take place in a different real small town. Snowball, Arkansas played into the story so much that I would love to take a trip there someday to see the caves, fish, and sled like Lucy. I sincerely hope I do not fall into the same scrapes as she, though knowing myself to be a clutz, I could very well do so. Finally Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas is a book I will gladly lend to my eighty-seven-year-old mother and my twenty-year-old niece with no qualms about the content. I now intend to keep a look-out for more ¿Love Finds You¿ books.

    Romantic Comedy at it's best!!!

Love Finds You in Snowball, Arkansas is a must read!! I laughed out loud as my children looked on at me as if I had lost my mind. I love books that make you snicker, snort, and giggle out loud. The fact that Sandra Bricker can write humor into an amazing love story is only the tip of the iceberg or snowball in this case. It isn't just the humor that pulls you in but you fall in love with Lucy Binoche the main character as she scrambles though a week long vacation in the Ozarks doing things that are beyond her comfort zone. The message of the novel is wonderful with the focus on realizing that true love is kind and accepting.

Lucy Binoche, is a true girly girl, but she tries to change who she really is and rough it in the Ozarks for Justin Gerald, the new handsome single at her church. She doesn't like tennis shoes, heights or anything creepy-crawly and in her veiw fish are great to eat as long as you don't have to see them alive before you eat them. With the help of her faithful best friend, Matt and relying on the grace of God she knows she can snag this great catch before she turns 30.

If you are looking for a great romantic comedy with an inspirational message this is the book to pick. I simply loved it!

Fabulous, fabulous story. Encore! Encore! I want more!! Review by Debra Ullrick author of, The Bride Wore Coveralls, Deja Vu Bride, and Dixie Hearts

Sweet, fun, and fabulous! That's what Love Finds You In Snowball, Arkansas is!

I love this story by Sandra D. Bricker. I laughed SO hard. I snickered often. And I giggled a zillion times. Several Oooos and Ahhhs departed from my lips too. Along with a few Oh mys!

This really is a book to: grab a blanket, curl up in a chair in front of the fire, and drink a glass of Betty Sues Hot Apple Cider. What is Betty Sues hot Apple Cider you say? Well, read the book and find out.

Love Finds You In Snowball, Arkansas ministered to me in so many ways. One of the things I really gleaned from it was Lucys prayer journal. I have to start one like that. I love that Lucy was so honest with God, and that she signed each prayer/letter to the Lord in a unique way. How you might ask? As if! Buy the book and find out.

Love Finds You In Snowball, Arkansas has several to-die-for recipes and even a few cooking tips. One I found extremely helpful and interesting.

And boy, howdy, does Lucy ever get into some pretty unique, precarious predicaments. Lucille Ball and the I Love Lucy show has nothing on Lucy Binoche.

Such as a laptop and a wild moose encounter. But is it really a moose? And was does the laptop have to do with anything?

Or, fish with evil eyes. Or was it just a small mouth bass?

How about...invisible bugs that leave itchy bug bites all over you. Huh?

Better yet...Lucy gets whacked in the head by something that no one would ever want to get whacked in the head with. What is it?

If you want to know the answer to these questions, then buy the book to find out. You wont be sorry.

And if you want to read a story that¿s filled with adventure, love, romance, humor, giggles, friendships, and dessert, then Love Finds You In Snowball, Arkansas by Sandra D. Bricker is the story for you.

    Fun and charming!

What a delightful romance by Sandra Bricker! Things snowball out of control for Lucy as she tries to win the affection of a cute guy by being someone she's not. More often than I want to admit, I saw myself in this zany character. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun escape with lots of laughter, and likes that deep sigh at the end.

    Funny, Romantic, AND Interesting ...

'This book is an excellent read for anyone who wants a little romance with their comedy - or a little comedy with their romance. The comedic flare of the main character makes it easy to relate to her and keeps you guessing about what's going to happen next. I picked up this book and COULD NOT put it down. Finished it in two days. This author has a way of describing things and making you feel like you're right there in the pages of the book. I highly recommend this book.'

    Great Read

This is a very enjoyable book. It is easy to read and flows very well. The main character is extremely likable and I can really relate to her, as I am not the outdoorsy type myself! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romantic comedy.
