Meet the Author

This story was first written for the author's sister, who used to make up happy endings for all of her friends and the guys they were interested in. This first novella has motivated the author to continue writing after leaving stacks of unfinished stories in a box from her teen-aged years.

Susan makes her home in Japan with her missionary husband and their three young children. She loves reading Christian fiction, trying out new recipes, reading out loud with changing voices, doing ventriloquism, and playing piano. Too silly to be romantic herself, she lives vicariously through her book characters.

    I really enjoyed this story

The chara ters were great. The story was definitely unique. While it followed te typical mail-order bride genre, it was a modern version involving individuals living and working on opposite sides of the planet. Im not sure why email was never involved in their correspodence. It just seems much more convenient. But overall, it was a very heartwarming story.
