Cori is a single mother and has just discovered that the man she loves – the best friend of her child’s estranged father – is being stalked by something not of this world and possibly because he’s been assuming the identity of a dead man.

A young woman leaves the suburbs of D.C. to live with her drug addicted sister in the Appalachian Mountains, and discovers her infatuation with her sister’s neighbor has given birth to a deadly curse. The curse comprises five phases and is derived from the book of Baloch, a legendary book of spells, which purportedly originated in ancient Babylonia, and which will lead to her death unless she finds a way to destroy the demon behind it.

Is sensual and mysterious Solomon Savage a vampire or something else?

Troubled Ailsa Helmandollar returns from Newport News to the mountains of Southwest Virginia to face the aftermath of her twin sister's controversial death and is compelled to revisit an erotic episode from her past with an evocative man named Solomon Savage who exhibits special powers and is rumored to drink the blood of animals.

SAVAGE is an adventure into the realm of myth and sexuality. It is also an exploration of human frailty and a story about love and forgiveness.

    Proofreader should re-read before publishing....

This is fairly interesting; however, some how the editor's notes to the author got left in the final print in several areas. This does tend to take the reader out of the story, unfortunately. The reader also needs to feel more involved with the main characters. I do think the plot concept is good. I'm trying to finish (I'm about halfway through) but the editor's notes just really keep throwing me off.
