Overview

Samantha Graham (introduced in ‘Shelter During the Storm’) faces the challenges of starting a new consulting business with her partner Jenna Johnson. A recent breakup from her cheating boyfriend confirms her beliefs that men cannot be trusted. That is until she meets a dark eyed stranger at a disaster conference in Chicago. Samantha allows herself one night with a man who makes her forget everything except the sexual energy between them. After an intense night of hot sex, Samantha disappears and goes back home to focus on her business.

Allen Archer is furious with Samantha for leaving his hotel room without a trace. He wants more than a one-night stand from her and was angry that she didn’t feel the same way. He hires and private investigator to find her, but he’d probably have more luck if he knew Samantha’s last name.

As luck would have it, the two lovers meet up again at one of the most unlikely places, a wedding. They struggle to find a way to make their long distance romance work while others try to keep them apart by any means, including murder.

(For adult audiences, sexually explicit, multicultural romance)

    Highly Recommended

I enjoyed reading this E-book. I love the character Allen and Samantha. Allen is a smooth and sexy character whereas Samantha is feisty and strong woman.

    Hot Alpha Male

I really liked the characters from this book, most multicultural books focus on the differences and problems caused by race. The issues between these lovers stems from broken dreams and dysfunctional families.

Samantha is a woman who's given up on finding a man who'll love her they way she needs to be loved. When she meets Allen at a business conference, she's immediately attracted to him, but realizes that they're from two different worlds and a relationship with them would never work. Therefore, she promises herself one night with him and is determined to forget about him.

Allen is the CEO of a successful company; he's arrogant and confident, but when he sees Samantha, his priorities in life change. He stays at the business conference because he wants a shot at Samantha. Allen uses his charm and sex appeal hoping he can tie Samantha to his side with sex. To his chagrin, Samantha leaves him after a night of intense sex without any explanation. Allen hires an investigator to find Samantha, but he doesn't have much luck because the only thing he knows about her is her first name.

They meet again one month later at a wedding and the sparks fly, which leads to more intense sex and a promise to give this romance a chance. Allen lives in Seattle and Samantha lives in Omaha, and Samantha doesn't think a long distance romance between them will work, but Allen's determination convinces her that they deserve a chance.

This book uses many characters from "Shelter During The Storm" so I had to go purchase that book so I can find out what happened to Samantha's business partner Jenna. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading Jenna's story. Happy reading!
