Meet the Author

As is the way with writers of fantasy, Janet Eaves has always lived in other worlds. From the beginning of her memories to this day, she has taken pleasure in those moments when nothing stands between her and that flight of the imagination which rolls scene after scene, carrying her to uncharted places and introduces her to previously nonexistent people that only she hears and sees, until, blessedly, she has the privilege of harnessing the magic and sharing her visions with others through the written word. Janet is the author of several books in the Legend Series published by Resplendence Publishing.

Magdalena Scott lives in her own fantasy world of Magdalenaville, Indiana, and spends her time writing stories with small town settings. As a lifelong citizen of small town America, Magdalena knows that life in a “burg” is seldom dull—if you’re paying attention. There is mystery, romance, scandal, and the occasional unexplained occurrence. Step into Magdalena’s fantasy world and find out what’s hidden just below the surface of those tiny dots you can barely see on the map.

Jan Scarbrough dreamed of being a writer since she reported on freelance writing for a career project in the ninth grade. After majoring in English at Western Kentucky University, she taught high school English. Since 1982 she has made her living as a writer—a technical writer—but didn't have the nerve to make her novel-writing dream come true until after a life-threatening illness in 1988.

Bestselling romance author, Maddie James, trips from contemporary to paranormal worlds as she pens stories within, and frequently crossing, a variety of romantic sub-genres. Her stories generally fall within the lines of traditional romance, whether they are sweet or spicy, and her heroes/heroines are always chasing the happily-ever-after. She's a Food Network junkie, a wannabe gardener, and a closet hermit. She frequently rescues stray pets and plants and an occasional antique wicker table. All of these quirky topics, and more, make their way into her books. Her first book, THE WILD WEST, a Kensington Precious Gems romance written under a pseudonym, received a Calico Trails Cameo Award. RED: A SEDUCTION TALE, claimed first place as the Romance Book Scene's favorite novella of the year. A three time nominee for a CAPA Award from The Romance Studio, and one time nominee for a Psyche Award, Maddie has also received a number of Top Pick and Best Read reviews from various reviewers. Several of her books have landed on Amazon Top 100 Paid Best Seller lists, including BROKEN, a #1 best seller in western romance, and CRAZY FOR YOU, which reached #8 in contemporary romance. Maddie is a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA) and its Published Author Network (PAN), Novelists, Inc., and the Independent Book Publisher's Association.

    A Bargain at $0.99

Different authors set their stories in a small southern town called Legend. Some stories were better than others but all were fun reads. There was some mildly graphic violence and the usual bedroom scenes found in many romance novels today. I liked the continuity from story to story and that secondary characters got their own stories. These were long novellas- 100-150 pages. For those fussy about editing, there were a few errors, but nothing awful, the grammar was generally OK and the font was consistent.

    Great read

It was refreshing to have the roles switched. Having the man fawning over the woman. Great story line. Would love a part two.
