Meet the Author
Stephanie Alison Walker is a Chicago-based blogger and playwright. In 2008 Stephanie faced foreclosure and lived to tell the tale on her blog "Love in the Time of Foreclosure," which has been called “A heartbreaking work of staggering acceptance” and has been featured on the front page of the Los Angeles Times, NPR’s "Planet Money," American Public Media’s "The Story with Dick Gordon," BusinessWeek magazine, Chicago Magazine and The Huffington Post.
Her latest full-length play "American Home" is based on her experience fighting foreclosure. Stephanie lives as a renter in a lovely apartment on the north side of Chicago with her husband Bob, son Malcolm and Pug Dog Pablo. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Chicago Dramatists Network Playwrights, Lizard Claw Playwrights and Courier 12 Collective. She loves hearing from readers and encourages e-mail: .
