    Disappointing Read

I recently read Love in the Wind and was very disappointed. The "hero," Iron Wing, was very absuive to the heroine, Katy, both pysically and emotionally. The book was long-winded, and most of the plot consisted of Iron Wing tormenting Katy and her taking it, while he remained cold and uncaring - which grew old and made for a terrible and disappointing read. The other events of the book appeared to be just thrown in, and it was obvious - none of it really made sense with the rest of the already weak story line. He was a poorly written "hero" and Katy a bland, unimaginative heroine. I'm going to donate the book to the library, it's not worth the extra money to pay to send it back for a refund. I recommend reading another Madeline Baker book instead - Reckless Desire. It had a everything a good romance should have.
