Since 1979, Gary Chapman has written more than 20 books. His book The Five Love Languages has sold more than 5 million copies in English alone and has been translated into thirty-six languages, including Arabic and Hindi. His daily radio program, A Love Language Minute, can be heard on more than 100 radio stations across the United States.

In addition to his writing and seminar schedule, Gary is senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he has served for 38 years. Gary and his wife, Karolyn, have been married for 47 years and have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Gary and his wife, Karolyn, have been married for forty-five years and have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Gary Chapman is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and holds BA and MA degrees in anthropology from Wheaton College and Wake Forest University, respectively. He received MRE and PhD degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has completed postgraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Duke University.
James Stuart Bell is a Christian publishing veteran and the owner of Whitestone Communications, a literary development agency. He is the editor of many story collections, including Angels, Miracles, and Heavenly Encounters; Heaven Touching Earth; and Encountering Jesus, as well as the coauthor of numerous books in the Complete Idiot's Guide series. He has cover credit on over one hundred books. He and his wife live in a western suburb of Chicago.

This is an uplifting devotional. I read this daily along with Jesus Calling.

I have been enjoying this devotional. I wish there was a little more scripture in it, but have been enjoying it and makes me think and pray a little bit more in different directions.
