One of my all time favorite books! A wonderful tale of the lives of Mary Todd and Abraham Lincoln. I wish I could get it on my Nook!

I remember this being my grandmother's favorite book when I was growing up. I first read it when I was in the 7th grade to see what all the fuss was about and instantly fell in love. I have re-read it several times since. I even still heve my grandmother's first edition and treasure each well worn page. Irving Stone tells this incredibly heart wrenching story quite beautifully and with such deep sentiment that it is hard to put down. Abraham and Mary deserved to have their story told this accurately.
