I love Allison Brennan and this book was just as great as her others. It keeps you reading with the intense plot and well-established characters. A must read series for those familiar with the character Lucy Kincaid from Brennan's previous novel.

A novella is not the same thing as a novel. A novella is in between a short story and a novel, which means it WILL be significantly shorter than a novel! [Don't blame barnes & nobles if you don't know the difference]
It was a great intro to lucy kincaid's series. i love lucy's character and allison brennan is one of my favorite authors. ever! if you love mystery/suspense with a romance, this is the author for you.

Did make me curious about the Lucy Kinkaid series and considering reading the next book in the series.

but i have to say that i much prefer her books in longer regular format. while the storyline was interesting, it was just too much shoved in a shorter book. But that wont stop me from buying all the other reg length books she comes out with!

This was a great introduction to this author. I bought this to see if I would like her other books. Now I have a better idea of her books and will order more.

This was a great introduction to the Lucy Kincaid series from Allison Brennan. This story takes place about a year before the Lucy Kincaid series starts off in Love Me To Death. It was fast paced and really held my attention.

Good book. Full of suspense.
Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.I bought this book hoping it was just what it was a reintroduction of Lucy Kincaid. It also gave the details of the story alluded to in the following two Lucy books. I was so in to the story I didn' t want it to end. I live Allison Brennan and I love the Kincaid clan.

The idea of a brother and sister solving crime together with the experience and background to get it done has so many possibilities. Which was impossible to accomplish in under 90 pages. Too short, but I guess you get whay you pay for.

Overview
I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU . . . DEADAfter a tough breakup with her boyfriend, Lucy Kincaid needs a different kind of break. So she heads west to join her brother, an ex-cop, for a long weekend of skiing in the mountains. At a picturesque lodge tucked high in the Sierra Nevada, Lucy finds just what she’s looking for: a peaceful retreat undisturbed by Internet, television, and cell phone distractions. She also finds an unexpected group of newlyweds seeking their own idyllic getaway.
But finding one of her fellow guests dead wasn’t in the brochure. And neither was the overnight ...
