I loved this was easy to relate to also loved that they were both geeks and enjoyed all of the geeky moments :)
There were alot of nerdy references Dr. Who, Star Wars, Joss Whedon, Battlestar Galactica, The Princess Bride and lots more and enjoyed trying to remember all the references.
I also enjoyed how the story flowed and how everything progressed in the book, would love to read another book like this or other characters from this book :)

One year ago Abby’s life changed, and she didn’t think at the time that it was for the better. She was left at the altar. Charlie had run off with another woman. But not just any woman… But the almighty “they”, “they” always say good things come to those who wait. And Abby is about to find out.
Valentine’s Day, one year later. Depression is knocking on the door. And now Abby has broken her new phone. Darnit! Luckily the office IT hottie, Tom, notices and offers to fix it. In fact, he wants to come over that very night, and with food.
Jennifer James has made me an instant fan with this story. Inside the pages you find heartbreak and heart ache, healing, friendship, flirting, and oh so much more. Even in her depression, Abby is a smart aleck. This is a trait that I love in just about anyone. Sure, the pain hurts, but if you can keep your smart aleck attitude about you, well, you know you have a chance to survive.
Tom… well, Tom is a terrific guy. He’s sweet and kind, and unexpectedly romantic. And something else, he’s a bit of a nerd. But hey, so is Abby so that is great! Tom sounds just like the perfect guy, in my opinion.
For being relatively short at around 80 pages, give or take, this story packs quite a punch. I think that if this is the kind of writing that Jennifer James writes, then she has a long career ahead of her. This is the kind of romance that gives jilted women , hell, any women, hope that their match is out there. The emotions were true and heartfelt, the pulse rates were heated and racing. The drama was fabulous. And the stolen kisses, well girls, that’s what Valentine’s Day is about, isn’t it?

My one complaint? That it wasn't longer.
Jennifer has created a fun, spicy and deep story in 80 little pages. Abby is deeply wounded, and Tom is just right to help her heal her pains and soften her scars.
What starts out as a begrudging 'date' turns into a fun evening of horrible movies, video games and laughter between two die-hard geeks battling it out to see who is truly the biggest nerd.
The connection between the main characters is spot on, hot, and deeply personal. I envy Jennifer's ability to get so deep into their psyche in so few words.
The resolution of the past, and the intrusion of the past, add just enough conflict to keep you intrigued. With a man that has award winning patience (seriously, give the guy a damn medal) - and a woman that is eager to try that patience...the steam sizzled even before they hit the sheets.
Of course I haven't even touched on the nerd-gasm that is folded into every page. Touching on geekery from Princess Bride to Doctor Who to Star Wars, Jennifer hides little gems throughout the entire book - even when you aren't expecting it.
If you want a quick read, a fun romp, and some super sexy geek fun pick this piece up immediately. I promise you won't be disappointed.
