Meet the Author

Detroit native, Sylvia Hubbard, a single mother of three, has worked tirelessly to promote and encourage emerging writers in Michigan. She independently published her first romance novel in 2000 and has continued to write in that genre, sometimes venturing into other sub-genres. Always urban and contemporary styled, her writing is enjoyed all over the world. She has published 4 paperbacks and over 10 e-books.

The same year she published, Ms Hubbard also created Motown Writers Network to fill the lack of education and networking for Michigan authors online and offline. By 2004, she was frustrated that all the literary conferences had moved too far away from the city and co-created The Essence of Motown Literary Jam Conference held only in the City of Detroit annually.

In addition to romance writing, Hubbard has been featured at various conferences and workshops all over the United States and Canada, where she has taught authors how to sell their books on the Internet. She also published Internet Marketing for Writers & Businesses as a resource for those unable to attend her workshops. In the upcoming year, she will be featured in several anthologies and plans to publish additional e-books.

    In love with the idea of love

    Some people never know how to really love. Thats what this was about. Love will find you when you least expect it. Sometimes you just need to open your eyes to see it. I really enjoyed the book. Such a wonderful love and heartache story.

    I generally give everything a try. I just could not stand the lack of editing. 'Getto' talk is not popular in writing...

    Good story

    This book is obviously written by someone who needs a good editor, but if you can read past the mistakes and enjoy the story, you will enjoy it. If typos and bad grammar distract you, then this isn't the author for you, and you will be among the others who rated this story poorly for that sole reason.

    Loved it

    This was a really good book. I hated Ethan and loved him at the same time. I felt sorry for Nicole but glad she found love even if it was from her mothers ex-husband!

    Aww

    Love is like life... so unexpected. Im pretty young and ive seen my parents love for eachother... but i also hav expirienced love and man is it amazing

    this book is action packed from beginning to end. someone must have experienced what was written in this book! i have hopes that it would be picked up by a film director.. it's that good!

    Loved it!

    I loved it. It got pretty intense at times and I liked how it had the happy ending! I deffenitely reccomend this book:)

    Better than i thought

    If u take the time, u will realize this book is great. It has drama , a love story, a little bit of a shock factor, something for adults...... It also has a message....love is more valueable then money. The characters are pretty good. At the beginning i wasnt a big fan of Ethan but by the end he is a really good person. Luv this!!!!
